St. Louis is known around the world for its collection of free attractions, fine cuisine, blues music and nightlife. Once the nation's fourth-largest city, it has hosted the 1904 World's Fair and Olympics, was home to ragtime composer Scott Joplin, and was the city where Dred Scott filed his landmark lawsuit for freedom. Indeed, St. Louis once stood as the gateway to the vast, unsettled American West. Today, it continues to be a city of cultural crossroads, mixing food, music and shopping for a personality all its own.

The company began in 2011 as ThNita Productions, and has recently been changed to Nita Productions, LLC. How did you start your business? With a Flip Video Camera purchased with American Express reward points, and a desire to help others. Does your company serve in the community? Yes, occasionally. How important is mentorship to you? Very important. Mentors help guild and lead. Encouragement is one of the best things a mentor can give. Who are your clients? Small businesses, individual achievers such as authors, speakers, performers, sports teams, etc. What is your definition of worship? Giving honor to God both in song and in prayer. How do you market your clients? Via various Social Media platforms,
How do you market your clients? Via various Social Media platforms, and via networking. How do you define the role of a mother? A life giver, nurturer, protector, provider of children. Who are some of your favorite women in the bible? Ruth, Esther, Mary. Do you consider your company to be very unique in relating to the service you provide? Yes. What makes Nita Productions unique is we are “One stop shoppingâ€?. We can produce, edit, create graphics, logos, web design, as well as produce business presentations, etc.. We produce all forms of media. We can also perform in front of the camera when needed. You are a woman of God, how do you handle the pressure of success? Well, I am not anywhere close to where I would like to be. But I am working diligently trying to get there. Many people come to me seeking guidance and advice, and many forget that even as a small business, our time is very valuable, so what little success I have, I have learned to take my time seriously and not allow others to take what time I have for granted. I have grown more business savvy and learning more and more every day that my services are valuable. Who is Immanuel to You? A name that means precious God‌ How would you describe the importance of having Jesus as a part of your company? Jesus is my foundation, my guide. It is my desire to produce Christian films in the near future. However, I provide services to all types of people as Jesus ate with the sinners and walked among them. And we are not above Jesus. I do not exclude anyone from the services I provide, especially as I am still growing. Business is business. And hopefully my Christian brothers and sisters will not judge me or my company by some of the clients that I produce video for, or work with to promote.
that I produce video for, or work with to promote. What does God mean to you? Everything. What is your favorite book in the bible? The Book of Solomon and the book of Revelation. But the entire Bible is so exciting and many people do not realize how exciting the Bible really is. It is better than any soap opera, or any drama. And the stories are all true. It is a very exciting book. We are doing shots out to mothers or mother figures, would you like to say something about your mother? Thank you for giving me life. What five years goals do you have for your firm? To expand it well beyond myself; to have produced 8 films; and to have acquired much larger, 5 figure contracts and beyond. How did you maintain your focus in the beginning of your entity? It is hard, very hard. And requires a lot of late night working. Because I am a very creative person, sometimes it is extremely hard to stay on task because I want to create, create, create, and not follow through. I have to train myself to stay on task and it is extremely hard for me as a creator. Do you need more than hard work and determination for a successful business? Yes, diligence, focus, patience, and a great team. Do you consider yourself a successful person, if so why? Yes. For one reason if no other: Having retired from the military as an AF Major, which only a small population of Americans get to do‌retire from the military at any rank. That alone, is a success. My company, is on its way but not near where I desire to go. I still have a lot of work to do. But I do not discount the work that I have accomplished in the last 3 years: Having an independent television show, The Benita Show, which captured the attention of many St Louis artists, as well as people from around the US, and even Australia; even now people continue to ask when is the show starting back? Having produced 200+ videos in such a short period of time is phenomenal. But my success has yet to begin. I have much more work to do. How can some one contact you for your service? nitaproductions@yahoo.com
Coming to a theater near you Haunted House 2 The funny man of comedy is back. No it's not Steve Harvey but it is Marlon Wayans in the funny scary movie Haunted House 2. The film is the sequel to the 2013 film A Haunted House and it looks to be just as funny as the first. Here is the plot, after losing his possessed girlfriend Kisha (Essence Atkins) in a car crash, Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) meets and falls for Megan, a single white mother of two. Oh yeah I can see where this is going but anyway as soon as he starts to move in with the family strange things starts happening surrounding the house and the children. If that wasn't enough the undead girlfriend, Keisha, moves right across the street from them. Talk about a stalker, well they say Hell has no fury like a demonic ex-girlfriend. Movie due out April 18
Hercules The legendary strongman is back and is better than ever. Hercules has been redone so many times I can't count but this one looks to be the best of them all. The Greek demigod is played by none other than The Roc (Dwayne Johnson) and who better to play the role. His chiseled body looks like he stepped out of the pages of history already. The plot goes after going through his legendary twelve labors, the demigod, faces his biggest challenge yet when the King of Thrace and his daughter seek his aid in defeating a tyrannical warlord.
Edge of Tomorrow There is one thing I can say about Tom Cruise, when it comes to action he is the man. In this Sci-Fi action flick Tom Cruise plays Lt. Col. Bill Cage and his sole mission is to die, day after day after day. Ok that’s not the sole mission he has to kill aliens as well but it is set around his last day of battle. Cruise do a ground hog type time loop and relieves the last battle he had as a soldier but gets better at killing each time he loops. Also starring Emily Blunt, Lara Pulver, Jeremy Piven, Bill Paxton, Charlotte Riley and a host of others. Due out by June 6
Marvel has done it again with this crazy off the wall type movie. Cast range from a squirrel to a tree man to a guy with an over inflated ego problem. due date august 1

B.B. King apologizes by keith baker
R B E CEL S W NE
BB King is one oif the al time greatest perforers in the world. As a blues artist he has wowed many stages in many cities worldwide. With so mnay performances you have to expect one or two will go baldy but how do the The King OF Blues handles it....He apologizes. BB King performed in St. Louis at Peabody Opera House on April 4th but it was all but stellar. We know he is in he 80's with health problems and add the fact that he took a long bus ride (24-hour/1,600 mile bus trip to Saint Louis from his home in Las Vegas) that would tire any one out. To complicate matters further, Mr. King (who is 88 years old) suffers from diabetes -- and he mistakenly missed a dose of his prescribed medication on the show day. Add the travels of the very long drive and high blood sugar due to his medication error resulted ended in a performance thatis not up the the usual BB king exellence of performance. Even though things didn't turn out the best anytime someone of his age is still able to get up there and do what he do...You have to love it.

Lights, camera and action. On the set with the producers of
Up on High Ground by Neil McDonald
As an actor, I have met and worked with a lot of people, but these gu are among the best. I am sitting with Bryan Kreutz and Joe McGettigan, the producers of Up On High Ground, a television pilot currently filming in the St. Louis area. With us also are Erin Morris and Matthew Becker, two of the young actors on the project. And I get to play Mr. Rowley, the science teacher.
Neil McDonald: Bryan, what is Up On High Ground (UOHG)? Bryan Kreutz: UOHG is a television pilot, and we have tried to combine multiple religions into the production to stand out and aside from other pilots that will be submitted to other networks. So we’re trying to go against the grain to grab the
attention of network executives, to do something a little different.
NM: Joe, can you tell us what inspired the concept and the whole project?
Joe McGettigan: The driving force behind this has been Bryan. It’s something he’s really been passionate about, and when he asked me to help out…We had so much success on Hercules the Brave and the Bold and To Inflict, I wanted to be a part of it. Promoting good will, understanding of others, and the faith-driven aspects, I wanted to jump on it immediately.
NM: Who else is in the production company? What is its name?
BK: Brayden Patterson Productions, in co-production with BK Studios,
which is a name I’ve used since I was 16. I did about 60 phantom Star Trek episodes when I was 16 to 18, and I really picked up a liking for production outside of just acting and theater, which I had done since I was about 8. Brayden Patterson Productions is an LLC in Missouri, and its first production was To Inflict, a short film. It houses no employees, everyone is on a contractor type basis, and we’re here to bring together the St. Louis film and acting community.
uys JM: The show is a high school setting. Some of the locations we are using are apartments, cafés, places you would see high school students, parents, roommates. A good variety of locations. We were able to use First Baptist Church of Arnold, and they gave us the use of practice studios, a café setting, principal’s office, and hallways.
BK: We also usedThe Triumph Grill, next to the Fox Theater, Café Pintxos, all sorts of different settings.
BK: The name of the school is East Valley Academy, and we can credit
you (gestures to NM). We were going to call it East Valley High, a name that came from Joe, but Neil suggested we needed to make this more of a private academy based on some of the ethics and rules portrayed throughout the script.
NM: Can you expound on the themes of faith and family a little bit more?
JM: With my character, Principal Guidry, there is a scene where a student hurts himself, and one of the themes is that we come together, for his safety, health, well being. It’s refreshing…it’s an ongoing conversation in front of and behind the camera. How will we instill this in episodes to come?
NM: It’s not a very preachy script, but doesn’t shy away from individuals’ faiths and what they believe. Is that accurate? description of how you want to see the show perceived?
BK: Exactly, and it’s kind of a modern way of how even some churches have done things. More casually, and we’re trying to do the same thing. We want to convey good ethics, good Christianity, good Buddhism, other religions and how everyone can work as a community as a whole and as a school. A lot of those religious themes have been extracted from television now, and that’s one aspect of our show. We show a lot of family life, a lot of sub characters, what happens behind the scenes and the home, school and church life. We’re trying to put them in to make it interesting and to stand out. In addition, we have a more dramatic edge, a little more harsh and in your face. Like in real life.
NM: Erin, can you describe your character? What is her name? Erin Morris: My character’s name is Erin O’Byrne, changed from my real name. She’s a drama student…She’s a tough girl, very smart. I was with them (Joe and Bryan) in To Inflict, and that’s how I found out about this. I met them through Hercules, then To Inflict, and now Up On High Ground.
JM: And we hope many more. NM: Matthew, how did you get involved?
Matthew Becker: I got involved because of working with BK and Brayden Patterson and a lot of the other cast and crew on Hercules with David Malone. BK approached me towards the end of that project and said “Hey man, we’re looking to do a TV show and we’d love it if you’d do it with us, and I was like “Yeah man, I’m interested.” And it just escalated from there.
NM: How do you and Matthew know each other? EM: We see each other at Mozingo (fine arts academy) because we’re in two different plays there. Between rehearsals we see each other for 5, 10 minutes each Tuesday. Mozingo has a lot of theater and singing lessons, classes, pretty much like a performing arts place.
NM: Matthew, can you tell us a little about your character? MB: I play Griffin Sundeen, a freshman, really a young kid. I like the way he’s developing, and I feel most people won’t see all sides of him until towards the end of the season, because his dad died. You just see the sadness that he feels, and I can’t wait to show that on screen. NM: So Erin, what about your character’s family life?
on screen.
NM: So Erin, what about your character’s family life? EM: It doesn’t say a lot about her family life, but she’s really close to her parents.
BK: This project actually started February of 2013. I started penning the ideas of characters, story development, and it all culminated in a script. Before, it was a concept, and I knew actors who would fit the 15 year olds perfectly. Matthew and Erin were the first two, and here we are.
NM: Good choices. Where do you see this project going, and what do you hope to see it doing?
MB: I see this project going really far, I really do. It will start off slow and get slowly bigger, and we’ll hear “Whoa, did you see that?” And it will keep getting bigger. Because obviously, once it kicks up and we have more episodes, we can show our friends, me and Erin can show our friends at Mozingo, show it at school, and it will just pick up from there. I hope it goes pretty far, because it’s going to be a pretty darn good show.

8 Things You Should Give Up To Be Happy Carver | February 22, 2014 VTYD KNOW WEBSITE
Here is a list of 8 things which, if you give up on them, will make your life a lot easier and much, much happier. We hold on to so many things that cause us a great deal of pain, stress and suffering – and instead of letting them all go, instead of allowing ourselves to be stress free and happy – we cling on to them. Not anymore. Starting today we will give up on all those things that no longer serve us, and we will embrace change. Ready? Here we go:
1.Give up your need to always be right There are so many of us who can’t stand the idea of being wrong – wanting to always be right – even at the risk of ending great relationships or causing a great deal of stress and pain, for us and for others. It’s just not worth it. Whenever you feel the ‘urgent’ need to jump into a fight over who is right and who is wrong, ask yourself this question: “Would I rather be right, or would I rather be kind?” Wayne Dyer. What difference will that make? Is your ego really that big?
2. Give up your need for control
Be willing to give up your need to always control everything that happens to you and around you – situations, events, people, etc. Whether they are loved ones, coworkers, or just strangers you meet on the street – just allow them to be. Allow everything and everyone to be just as they are and you will see how much better will that make you feel. “By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it
3. Give up on blame Give up on your need to blame others for what you have or don’t have, for what you feel or don’t feel. Stop giving your powers away and start taking responsibility for your life.
4. Give up your self-defeating self-talk
Oh my. How many people are hurting themselves because of their negative, polluted and repetitive self-defeating mindset? Don’t believe everything that your mind is telling you – especially if it’s negative and selfdefeating. You are better than that.
5. Give up your limiting beliefs About what you can or cannot do, about what is possible or impossible. From now on, you are no longer going to allow your limiting beliefs to keep you stuck in the wrong place. Spread your wings and fly!
6. Give up complaining Give up your constant need to complain about those many, many, maaany things – people, situations, events that make you unhappy, sad and depressed. Nobody can make you unhappy, no situation can make you sad or miserable unless you allow it to. It’s not the situation that triggers those feelings in you, but how you choose to look at it. Never underestimate the power of positive thinking.
7. Give up the luxury of criticism Give up your need to criticize things, events or people that are different than you. We are all different, yet we are all the same. We all want to be happy, we all want to love and be loved and we all want to be understood. We all want something, and something is wished by us all.
8. Give up your need to impress others Stop trying so hard to be something that you’re not just to make others like you. It doesn’t work this way. The moment you stop trying so hard to be something that you’re not, the moment you take off all your masks, the moment you accept and embrace the real you, you will find people will be drawn to you, effortlessly.

When a child feels that they look good, they began to feel good about themselves and therefore will do well in school. With your assistance, AVADEWORLD will provide the resources needed to get our students interested in school as an alternative to being a delinquent in our city streets.
