Critical Theory • Origin back to the writings of Frankfurt School( school of disciplinary social theory) • Concerned with unmasking the form of oppression to bring about the liberation of members and groups of society • Emphasis on abolition of social injustice, inequality and exploitation. • Exhort that knowledge must be used as a practical tool for a change • Focus on analyzing the mechanism use in the domination and power in schools or society by the authorities
