DENTAL AND VISION

Our dental and vision benefits are offered through

DENTAL

We offer three dental plans, including a low-cost DHMO plan with a major carrier, and PPO plans with up to $5,000 in coverage.

VISION

We offer a comprehensive plan covering eye exams, prescriptions, and lenses or contact lenses, when receiving in network services.

LIFE & SUPPLEMENTAL COVERAGE

Our basic life benefits are offered through

LIFE INSURANCE

Life insurance benefits will be offered to all eligible employees. Kelley Kronenberg will pay benefits in full.

VOLUNTARY LIFE INSURANCE

Voluntary life insurance will be offered to increase your life insurance coverage amount.

SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE COVERAGE

Supplemental insurance coverage will be offered to cover unexpected events (i.e., Accident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness).

DISABILITY COVERAGE

Our supplemental benefits are offered through

SHORT-TERM DISABILITY

Short-term disability is available at low-cost premiums. If you become disabled because of a non-occupational illness or injury and cannot work, you can be covered by the short-term disability insurance policy.

Elimination Period: Benefits can begin on the 8th day following an accident and the 8th day of a sickness.

LONG-TERM DISABILITY

Duration of Benefit: You can receive short-term disability benefits for up to 13 weeks.

Long-term disability insurance is paid in full by the firm. If you become unable to perform your regular job duties for an extended period of time due to sickness, or accidental injury, you can be covered by the long-term disability (LTD) policy.

Elimination Period: Benefits begin on the 91st day after you are unable to work due to a covered sickness or accident.

Duration of Benefit: To Social Security Normal Retirement Age.

ADDITIONAL LINES OF COVERAGE

GAP INSURANCE

Gap insurance is offered as a supplemental plan, which acts as a cushion for employees with high deductibles.

FSA DEPENDENT CARE

FSA dependent care allows working parents and/or caregivers to reduce their annual taxes up to $700 for eligible dependent-care expenses (daycare, after care etc.)

BEYOND MED

Elevate your health and wellbeing by getting access to a proprietary network of board certified doctors and licensed providers at reduced rates on elective and cosmetic services.

PET INSURANCE

Pet insurance helps lessen the overall costs of veterinary care.

Norton LifeLock offers plans that include comprehensive identity theft protection and credit monitoring for you and your family.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

KK’s EAP offers confidential counseling services to support employees’ wellbeing in the workplace and personal lives. It assists employees with issues including but not limited to family issues, financial concerns, relationship problems, mental illness or substance abuse issues.

COMMUTER BENEFITS

A transportation benefit plan which provides transit & parking benefits on a pre-tax basis.

HEALTH ADVOCATE SERVICES

This program allows you to connect with a personal Health Advocate who will help you navigate the complexities of the health care system.

401(K) RETIREMENT

We believe it’s important to help you achieve your retirement goals.

Employees are eligible to enroll in the firm’s Retirement Savings Plan on the 1st of the month following date of hire. The firm will match 25% on every dollar of the employee’s contribution, up to 6%.

All full-time employees are eligible for 18 to 23 days of paid time off in their 1st year, depending on functional role or tenure.

Our PDC Team helps attorneys reach their full potential by providing coaching, training, and resources that enhance skills to ensure professional success.

THE AKADEMY

The Akademy is the firm’s educational platform, designed to help our attorneys reach their professional goals. Through the Akademy, attorneys benefit from interactive, skills-based workshops, educational lunch & learns, and practice area seminars. In addition, year-round Managerial training is provided to all supervisors, so managers are well-equipped to lead high-performing teams.

PRACTICE PARTNER / PARTNER PROGRAM

The Practice Partner position bridges the gap between Associate and firm Partner. Among other criteria, to be considered for Practice Partner, attorneys must have two years’ experience practicing law, and demonstrated proficiency in their practice area. During their tenure as Practice Partner, attorneys will participate in a comprehensive training program designed to prepare them to undertake the additional benefits and responsibilities of Partner, as well as enhance their future growth and advancement in the firm.

RISING LEADERS COMMITTEE

The Rising Leaders Committee is the firm’s Attorney Committee, where attorneys from all Kelley Kronenberg offices meet monthly to share information and ideas that improve their practice, as well as engaging in community outreach.
