Engagement sessions can be fun, laid back, and easy ways to get comfortable with having a camera in your face. There are no rules about engagement photos. You don't need them for save the dates or invitations (though you for sure can use them for that). You can do them a year before your wedding or the week before. Got a dog? Bring the dog. Always bring the dog. Maybe not even for the photos, I just want to pet the dog. Pinterest is the best for clothing inspiration for engagement photos. I could offer help, but I'm guessing my standard wardrobe of t-shirt and jeans may not be what you're looking for.
