The magical and mystical Far North combines with the musical magic of our 3 Tenors -Bonnie, Derek, Ben with Paul.

Experience the Exceptional...

• An 8-day, 7-night tour of Auckland and the Far North including accommodation at Scenic Hotel Bay of Islands (5 nights) and Fable Hotel MGallery, Auckland (2 nights).

• Discover the magic and mystique of the Far North as we explore this magnificent region. Steeped in history, Northland is one of the most beautiful and interesting parts of New Zealand.

• Musical events in iconic places, taking each special setting and matching it with special concerts including Viva Italia at Poderi Crisci with a long Italian lunch, a concert in the oldest church in New Zealand in Russell: Music for Inspiration, The Greatest Song Ever Written, where our tenors sing lighter famous songs, Duke of Marlborough ballroom with our Tribute to the Tenors and our final night dinner at a vineyard with concert entitled A European Romance

• Enjoy many breathtaking experiences, including Cape Reinga, and a cruise in the beautiful Bay of Islands where we might find some Dolphins and see the famous Hole in the Rock.

• Tour of Kerikeri including a visit to Makana Chocolates and Sovrano Vineyard for some tastings, visit Kemp House (otherwise known as Kerikeri Mission House) and adjacent to this, the oldest stone building in NZ, the Stone Store built in 1832, with lunch at the lovely Plough & Feather Restaurant.

• Drive to the Kauri Forest and enjoy a very special day seeing the forest, the great Tane Mahuta Kauri tree and lunch in Dargaville.

• Tour of Auckland War Memorial Museum and to Waiheke including a long Italian lunch.

• Other special flavours including historic tour of Russell, visit to Pompallier House and a visit to Hundertwasser Art Centre.

Fable Hotel, MGallery Auckland (2 nights)

Highlights Include:

• We meet late morning and visit Auckland War Memorial Museum for a tour and time for lunch.

• Dinner this evening at the award winning restaurant Sails overlooking the harbour bridge!

MONDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2024 (B, L)

Highlights Include:

• Transfer to ferry building and enjoy time on the harbour as we cruise to Waiheke.

• Tour of Waiheke including Whittaker’s Music Museum and coach drive.

• Long Italian lunch at Poderi Crisci with music from our tenors today: Viva Italia.

• Free evening for your own dinner arrangements or to meet friends.

TUESDAY 12 NOVEMBER 2024 (B, D)

Highlights Include:

• Drive from Auckland to the Bay of Islands with a stop for morning tea and shopping in Warkworth.

• Free time for lunch at one of the quayside restaurants or cafes in Whangarei’s Town Basin Marina Village.

• Visit to Hundertwasser Art Centre, with Wairau Māori Art Gallery, celebrating the visionary painter, architect, and ecologist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

• Casual dinner at the hotel on arrival.

WEDNESDAY 13 NOVEMBER 2024 (B, L, D)

Highlights Include:

• Sail to Russell, the original capital of New Zealand, with its historic buildings.

• A visit to Pompallier House built in the 19th century.

• Time for a concert from our tenors in the oldest church in New Zealand here in Russell: Music for Inspiration.

• Lunch at Marlborough Hotel after our concert.

• A Hangi and Cultural concert at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds tonight.

THURSDAY 14 NOVEMBER 2024 (B, L, D)

Highlights Include:

• Foodies tour of Kerikeri including a visit to Makana Chocolates and Sovrano Vineyard for some tastings!

• Visit to Kemp House (otherwise known as Kerikeri Mission House) and adjacent to this is the oldest stone building in NZ, the Stone Store built in 1832.

• Lunch at the lovely Plough & Feather Restaurant.

• Dinner in the Duke of Marlborough ballroom and concert paying tribute to the great tenors like Pavarotti, Domingo, Mario Lanza and so many more: Tribute to the Tenors.

FRIDAY 15 NOVEMBER 2024 (B, L, D)

Highlights Include:

• Full day tour to Cape Reinga, the top of New Zealand!

• Lunch and a drive down or up Ninety Mile Beach (depending on tides).

• Dinner at the Hotel in a private room with a casual concert from our artists entitled The Greatest Song Ever Written, where our tenors sing lighter famous songs.

SATURDAY 16 NOVEMBER 2024 (B, D)

Highlights Include:

• A Bay of Islands cruise to Cape Brett Peninsula and the famous Hole in the Rock on Motukokako Island.

• Afternoon to enjoy some shopping or free time at the hotel.

• Final night dinner at a vineyard this evening with concert entitled A European Romance where our tenors sing famous songs and opera from Europe. What a way to end our week!

SUNDAY 17 NOVEMBER 2024 (B, L)

Highlights Include:

• Drive across country to the Kauri Forest and enjoy a very special day seeing the forest, the great Tane Mahuta Kauri tree and lunch in Dargaville.

• Journey back to Auckland ending at Auckland Airport for your flights home.

EASY TOUR

This tour will suit people with a stick, but not a walker. You will be required to walk to get from place to place and stand in museums, but it is designed to be an easy tour with lots of times to rest, travel on a coach and walk easy leisurely distances. You will need to be able to get on and off a bus with ease.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• All itinerary details are subject to change, but changes will be replaced with a comparable or better option.

• Initial & Second deposits are fully refundable up until final balance due date, minus an administration fee of up to $500 plus any non-recoverable costs.

• All monies are non-refundable at final balance due date. This becomes an insurance claim.

• Payment by direct credit incurs no surcharge. Credit card payments will incur a surcharge of 1.5%.

• Travellers need to be independently mobile and fit to travel.

• Bookings will only be accepted with initial deposit.

• All travellers must obtain comprehensive travel insurance for international travel and insurance for domestic travel is recommended.
