•Historical guided tours including to Imperial Palace Ground & East Garden, Meiji Shrine, Samurai House and Garden, Shirakawago Village, famous for the “Gassho Zukuri” houses preserved for hundreds of years, Kami Sannomachi in Takayama’s old town, Kinkakuji and Tenryu-ji, major Zen and Buddhist temples and numerous old towns, bridges, palaces and temples of historic significance.

•Museum and art galleries including National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, National Museum of Modern Art and the Hakone Open Air Sculpture Museum.

•Old town and shopping experiences including to Nakamise Street, one of Tokyo’s oldest shopping streets, Omotesando, known as the Champs-Élysées of Tokyo, Omicho Ichiba, a large covered market, Higashiyama District, which includes traditional tea houses and gold leaf shops and demonstrations and Nagamachi District, a village featuring cobblestone streets & former samurai homes, plus shops & restaurants with free time for own shopping.

•Numerous foodie experiences including markets, fish market, sushi making, sake tasting, local restaurants, some with music, dinner cruise and tea house ceremonies.

•Special experiences including visits to SkyTree, Japanese gardens, traditional pavilions, temples, Monkey open air park, deer park, Sumida River Cruise, bamboo park, Mt Fuji exploring day including Hakone Ropeway cable car, Ōwakudani Valley with its volcanic activity and striking scenic views and boat ride on Lake Ashinoko.
