e om c l We

to the CUNY SPS Health & Wellness event in celebration of #CUNYTuesday!

#CUNYTuesday is an annual event that occurs each year on #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the United States, after the widely recognized shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The day kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. #CUNYTuesday challenges all of the schools and colleges within the University to raise $1 million in support of student success. Our goal at CUNY SPS is to raise $40,000 towards student scholarships by November 27, 2018. Last year, more than 125 generous donors provided financial support for the ACE Scholarship at CUNY SPS, which allowed an additional eight students to complete their degrees. This year, we are holding a #CUNYTuesday Health & Wellness event to celebrate the day and highlight members of the CUNY SPS community, particularly alumni. Our alumni are amazing, and we are very proud of all that they have accomplished. I hope you enjoy this evening’s activities, including self-care stations, exercises, discussions about mental health and diabetes awareness, standing Pilates classes, raffle prizes, professional headshots, and a very special surprise guest appearance. As members of the CUNY SPS community, we hope you will help us surpass our fundraising goal this year by supporting student scholarships. Please consider making a gift today, participating in the raffle for a suggested donation, and sharing our website among your friends, families, and social media contacts. I am delighted to celebrate #CUNYTuesday at CUNY SPS, and I thank you for being a part of our exceptional community. Sincerely,

John Mogulescu Dean, CUNY School of Professional Studies
