WHEN ANIMALS ATTACK
The Resort 2013 Collection represents Kelly Wearstler’s interpretation of essence versus abstract. Known for her use of bold prints and bright color palettes, this luxe collection of fabrics experiments with graphic design and textured surfaces. Hints of safari and narrative animal prints fight to expose themselves like animals — clawing, zigzagging, and fraying their way out of their cages. Frenetic energy weaves its way throughout the dresses, jackets, skirts, and pants, symbolizing the aftermath of an animal attack.
