Avon Tuning Agri and Plant Division supplies professional remapping services to farmers across the UK and Ireland via a network of authorised agents.
With over a decade of experience in agricultural tuning, the company has seen a surge in demand from farmers wishing to increase work efficiencies and reduce fuel use on existing machinery through remapping.
Avon Tuning Agri and Plant’s HQ is based in Bristol and has over 100 agents providing bespoke maps for almost any make and model of agricultural machine.
The Avon Tuning Agri and Plant stand at the West Country Farming & Machinery Show features the latest Dimsport Remapping equipment used by authorised agents. Their equipment now has increased functionality allowing a remap to be carried out on the latest Tier 5 machines.
Also on the stand is Avon Tuning's brand new VW Transporter mobile tuning setup, which highlights how prospective agents could start offering a remapping service.
As the sole UK importer for Dimsport dynamometers, on show is a DF2TR workshop dyno suited to dealerships and engineers looking to test tractors up to 330hp.
Avon Tuning Agri and Plant is on Stand 26 with advice from the team of engineers about what remapping can offer.

“As a family-owned business with a long tradition, we have a great deal of experience in the grassland and arable sector,” Pöttinger says. “Our product range is vast and we would like to welcome you to our stand where we will be exhibiting the following products; Jumbo 7400 forage wagon, Rotocare V 6600 rotary hoe and Novacat 302 ED mower conditioner.”
With three models in the Jumbo 7000 range, with increased torque and power limits, the loader wagon can now deliver higher throughput rates than a selfpropelled forage harvester. The moveable front panel provides a significant increase in volume of 4.3m3 for the same length of wagon, making it a much more compact unit.
The new Rotocare rotary hoe conserves the crop and is row-independent. In addition to its advantages for mechanical weed control, the machine is equipped for a wide range of other applications such as breaking up incrustations, incorporating fertiliser and aerating grassland.
Pöttinger’s stand will also feature the renowned Novacat 302 ED mounted mower conditioner. A unique feature on this machine is the ability to detach the conditioner unit and convert this model to a plain disc mower. “This is particularly useful for those wanting to cut high value forage crops such as clover, lucerne or whole crop,” the company says.
