FMC Techonologies
FMC Technologies is a global leader for the energy industry providing oil service equipment. After a competitive pitching process, Kelvin & Frank Reid has been appointed to design and build their new office of 48,000 sqft. To optimise the space and enhance communication, we have designed an open-plan layout with transparent meeting rooms & numerous collaborative areas. Our objective was to create an environment based on transparency, so people can see and be seen and build trust. Touchdown points have also been
implemented
for
informal
meetings; and temporary workspaces for visiting staff. To reduce the overall noise as well as the huge openness effect, we purposely segregate the space into a series of neighbourhoods and positioned the meeting rooms strategically to cluster the different departments
accordingly.

INTERTRUST SINGAPORE Intertrust Singapore provides a wide range of services to private and corporate clients who wish to roll out corporate structures in Singapore. Their main objective was to mix their 3 business divisions under one office space. This became our first achievement as the 3 divisions needed to get enough space for each other to continue their activity and more collaboration area to increase their efficiency. Our second achievement was to incorporate more meeting room and a training room of 20 pax on top of their existing head counts. In order to make the best out of the space we design a training room which could be easily used as an extension of the pantry area leaving more sharing space for the employees. In order to enhance the space, we differentiate the area with contrasting flooring and distinctive lighting and ceiling conducive to create unique atmosphere for the people. The design of reception area has a wide signage wall with a long pathway, leading from the front towards all the meeting rooms. The internal office space gains maximum openness, line of sight and window views, which is one of the elements that our team is appointed.

TREASURY WINE ESTATES
Treasury Wine Estates is an Australian-based global winemaking and distributor with an impressive wine portfolio of 80 brands including but not limited to Penfolds, Rosemount Estate and Wolf Blass. After designing their office in 2013, Kelvin & Frank Reid recently partnered again with TWE to design and build a new tasting bar at their main entrance. The reception area has been converted to a wine bar, which can facilitate up to 40pax once the operable wall of the meeting room is opened. Our design concept aims to reinforce their market position and to reflect their company image. Vineyard scenes were implemented on the full side of the meeting rooms to provide a unique meeting environment aligned with their brand identity. A reversible LCD screen, visible from one of the meeting rooms and outside of the office was installed to allow the marketing team to showcase their wine portfolio. > > > > >

Calypso Technology, Inc. is a leading provider of cross-asset, front-to-back technology solutions for financial markets. Kelvin & Frank’s team is appointed to design their new office, which is strategically located in the heart of Singapore CBD at One Raffles Place. The project brief was to create an open workplace, increasing efficiency and creativity in the space as compared to their previous one. Addition of meeting spaces is created for the staff; including a breakout area with multiple functions, located at the centre of the office to generate more interaction and energy for the local and overseas staff. The newly innovated office has since been utilised and appreciated by the people, through both aesthetic appeals and well-defined functions.
Solvay is an international chemical and advanced materials company based in Brussels, Belgium and Publicly owned. They are established throughout the globe, with 145 sites and 21 R&I centers. They have been in Singapore for 30 years and headcount of more than 200 employees. The design brief given was to create within the existing office, a “Creative Zone”. This zone will enable people to connect and collaborate amongst the departments. The functions are: Collaboration / Breakout / Town Hall / Brainstorming. The Goal was to create a new area that will foster socialization and collaboration. This was part of a Change Management Strategy on Solvay. Hence, we decided to focus on employee’s engagement to increase their workplace satisfaction. The design concept that we embarked on was to ‘energise’ the space; thereby, get people ready to generate innovative ideas, new strategies and make meaningful progress for the company. In order to Inspire, empower, listen and appreciate the employee’s contribution, we wanted to give them a flexible place, where they could have a break, meet for a Digital Presentation, get some privacy or attend a Town Hall meeting. By providing them with more options to choose on how to do their work, the space that we create allow them to have more control over their work experience. Keywords for this project were: Fun, Creative, Dynamic.
