GLENN
PIETERS
Glenn joined the Royal Melbourne staff as Assistant Golf Professional in May of 2023 after six years at The Glen Club, our sister property in Glenview, IL. His responsibilities include golf operations, teaching & coaching, and overseeing all aspects of golf outings. A native of Northbrook, Glenn returned to Chicago in 2015 after 25 years in Colorado. He brings over 20 years of experience in operations, sales, and project/event management. His varied background encompasses two high-tech startups, fundraising for a large charitable organization, and serving cross-culturally while living in Nairobi, Kenya. Royal Melbourne opened in 1992 and has since been recognized as one of the best courses in the Chicago area. Carved into the surrounding wetlands, the 18-hole, par 72 Greg Norman design combines the beauty of sport with the beauty of nature. The 6700-yard layout offers a variety of tees ensuring a challenging yet fair test for players of all skill levels.
WHAT IS INCLUDED Our team will work with you to prepare a custom plan and event package for your day, including the following amenities: · 18-hole greens fee · Electric carts (fleet of 60) · Hosted golf bag drop area · Practice area with range balls · Locker room access · Professional tournament management · On-course contests such as longest drive, closest to pin, and longest putt made · Registration tables · Wireless internet access (clubhouse and circle drive entrance area) · Coffee service · On-course beverage cart service with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages · Meals before or after golf with custom menus · Bar service included or on consumption basis
SUGGESTED SCHEDULE Events can be scheduled on Mondays from April through October, subject to availability, and may be reserved up to one year in advance.
Typical event size is 80 to 144 golfers, with the option to host
additional non-golfing participants for meals or other activities.
Shotgun start times range from 9:00 am to
