USERS TARGET USER
The target users are people who are tech savvy and can navigate iphone and andriod devices with no difficulty. They’re people would be inclined to explore the transaction of information via light emmited at each piece of artwork displayed those looking for an aternative to the outdated and traditional museum listening devices.
Louise Allen Age 72, Grandmother Visiting for fun Louise goes to museums regularly but she’s hesistant to use the technology advanced smartphone her son got her to get information about her favorite pieces of art. However the MUSE system in its entirety feels a lot simpler to her than trying to work the always unfamilar handheld audio devices of the past.
Sarah Shaw Age 27, Grad Student Conducting Research Sarah struggles financially so she’s relieved that paying for information about the museum artwork is no longer necessary. She also appreciates being able to use her own phone and headphones. The MUSE app makes recording and rembembering what she’s learning about the artwork so much easier too.
Sean Murphy Age 12, Middle Schooler On A Class Field Trip Sean doesn’t care about the information explaining what he’s looking at. He prefers to admire the artwork, not instead of learning about it, and runs around the museum with his friends. Even though he has the MUSE app, and thinks it’s cool, he spends more time playing games on his phone during the field trip.
