eredivisie LIVE Eredivisie Live TV Brand ID and communication

In it’s introductory year Eredivisie Live gained great brand awareness. It was our task to work on this solid start and create a logical next step with a campaign that would improve brand awareness and recognition among a much broader target audience and increase the Eredivisie Live subscriber base. I worked on the creation of the clear brand face that felt like a natural roll out of the existing logo and current identity. The new brand identity should also be easily adaptable to any medium. Then we used our most convincing and valuable asset to enforce the fact that if you’ve got passion for football you can’t be without Eredivisie Live – the digital channel dedicated to the top Dutch football. The season 09/10 campaign kicked-off with TVCs, print, online, direct marketing, bannering, and radio.

Heineken is a key sponsor of the UEFA Champions League and in May 2009 the actual Final was held in Rome... but the Heineken Star Final, a live screening of this special match, was held on a tropical beach in Thailand. At TBWA\BEC we created a global sales and brand promotion to invite consumers from all over the world to win tickets to Thailand. Allowing football fans to share in the excitement and meanwhile creating strong brand ambassadors the world over. This activation campaign was rolled out in 30 markets globally and integrated online (online game, internetcampaign) and offline (event, sponsorship, ATL en BTL) media.

First, the setting – Rome, Italy – a city and nation where football is part of the cultural heritage. The adidas running campaign was launched in the beginning of 2007. The work ran in US. Special executions were produced for the event in Boston. The campaign aims to help people to reach their running ‘Impossible’ wherever they are and when ever they are. Not to use the event as a motivation to start running. The idea is to give people examples of how others motivate themselves on keep running. I built creative template of a bib which was used across key touch points at events and grass routes activities such as registration points, key location along the route, website etc. The same element is re proposed for the strong print and outdoor campaign layouts. The executions show real people that took part at the event the year before and their motivations written on the zoomed bib. The reason is written with hand writing font to give the feeling of genuine reality. I built master mechanicals and specific several master outdoor for the Boston campaign. Prints for buses, pillars and giant outdoor executions were set up as master files. I wrote guidelines for both campaigns which I followed when approving adaptations. Here are shown some example of the master executions built for the campaign.

Carrefour BTL in Store Design dress I worked on the concept of “sale� and presented a several proposals of BTL display in store elements to dress up the dress Carrefour stores during the sales period. I used the discount percentage and the mega Tags as the main graphic elemets, suported by bar codes. These are even more eye-catchy beacuse the colours and the distribution in the space. The grey tones mantain a measured trendy look and feel of the Carrefour fashion products even in disount. In fact it’s a great opportunity for the client to get cool carrefour pieces with great discounts.

This campaign entitled “impossible is nothing” is centred around the adidas women spring/summer 07 range. The campaign was launched in 2007. “Sport is a game” is the key concept. The visuals are based on real athlets and on how enjoyment helps them to achieve their impossible. All the poses and quotes are meant to inspire women to go out there and enjoy their sports. The images are set at night in order to get icon and stylish images. The night absorbs most of the surroundings and puts extra focus on the athletes and their clothes. The quote are telling a personal piece of experience given away from the athlets to inspire other women. Hand writing fonts are used to give a feeling of spontaneity and reality of the experience. I worked on several presentations for the clients going through image search, drawings and retouches. Because the global use of the campaign I set up graphical files of the quotes translated in 12 languages. I than built master mechanicals and wrote guidelines to provide the to the support print company for adaptations. Later on I was responsible for the approvals for each printed adaptations layout. GAZZETTA DELLO SPORT Gazzetta dello Sport Milano I worked on the advertising print campaign for Gazzetta dello Sport- the most popular sport newspaper in Italy. The “ pink Gazzetta World� is proposed in a city enviroment with the figures and schene of the most fun followed sport. The world was also proposed as a summer version, with of course summer sport figures and on the most milanese popular beach in Milano Marittima.

GAZZA RUN Gazzetta dello Sport print master layouts I worked on the advertising print campaign for the program TV “gazzarun� sponsored by Gazzetta dello Sport- the most popular sport newspaper in Italy. Three of the athlets that compose the Gazza Run Group of runners, were choosen to be the protagonist of the print campaign. I collaborate for the production and post production of the campaign that involves from the photographic shoot to the active work of art direction and post production.

Motorola PEBL Retail and graphic proposal

This is a proposal design for the Motorola PEBL store. The idea is based on the new design of the PEBL cell phone, small and rounded as an actual pebble. My role was to design hypothetical store spaces for the retail environment of Motorola. I designed a whole branded Motorola store space, hostess stands and display objects. Colours and shape match the PEBL new logo identity designed in colours and shapes by the 180 Design Director. The rendered image below gives an idea of the proposed work.

SUNGLUSSES HUT Retail and graphic proposal

This is a proposal design for Hut sunglasses store. The graphics is designed behind the studies that link sight and sunglasses. A pair of sunglasses become a insect. Colours and shapes’s sunglasses define insects graphics that will be displayed in the store. Depending of the time of the year the store will be decorated with different graphic insect and colours that will remind the sunglasses models too. My role was to assist the Retail Director designing the store and studying the positioning of the designed graphics. Clean lines and shapes are chosen for the store in order to emphasize product sand graphics. The big image shows the store decorated for Valentine celebration.

WHITE ROOM Sale Xmas Event I worked on the organization of the fashion store sale event for White Room organizing the event and promoting it with a Flyer that I used for face book event and on side at the actual event. We did want old and new clients to enjoy the sale promotion at the store while sipping a tea: exactly as the White Room store is conceived.

TBWA\BEC Music CD series covers TBWA\ Brand Experinece Company ias an active brand activation company is always in constant evolution. I was asked, as part of the TBWA| BEC music project, to design a series of CD sleeves for the BEC Music CD . As music is often associate with the human ood and those to the colours, the firrst few TBWA| BEC musc CDs sleeve focus on the colours.

STUDIO MEDICO oculistico Logo design and practice panels I created the “Studio Medico” logo for the existing medical practice in the surrounding of Bergamo, in Italy. As the medical practice is specialized in ophthalmology, I created and studied a graphic element that remind that. Light colours are used such as light green and blue and their various shades . A dark grey is chosen to specify the text communication in contrast on the graphic composition. Two large rounded panels were created on flexible multilayer and mat transparent material for both a conceptual and practical purpose. Thanks to light our eyes are able to see. Thanks two the flexible material the panel could be placed on the rounded wall at the entrance of the space.

DESTINO Corporate identity design I created the “Destino” logo for a new business company involved in sports and event consultancy. The logo has the shape and colours that play together to communicate happiness and reliability as the owner of the company asked me to. Two “s” make the logo shape a reminder of the company owner. I designed the business card, the letterhead, the envelope and compliments card and supplied ready files for the production. I also designed a special black and white version for house and fax prints.

Shape and colours play together to communicate happiness and reliability. The orange colour is not casual: it’s a clear reference to Saskia’s dutch nationality. The “S” of “destino” is a reference to Saskia’s fist letters name and surname. Simple stylish business card and letter layout examples reproposes the visual centrality of the logo.Two half colour circles signs indicates the foldable points for the envelope.

I created the “Centro Parrucche Venere” logo for the exixting shop saling wigs and hair extention in Bergamo, Italy. The name mentions already the main sold product which refere to the godness of beauty, Venere. Simple type face, rounded, femminine is associated with the sophisticated and elegant two colours already there in the showroom: grey applied to the type and red to the graphic, the line. The image of the Venere is part of the business card in order to support the communication of the logo as it’s in reality placed in the shop, giving the name to it..

FARINELLA RESTAURANT Mediterranean food Milano The restaurant is situated in the city centre of Milan, in Italy and covers more than 300m2. The client briefed the studio to design the indoor space for a new Italian fast food pizza and pasta restaurant with the specific request of not giving customers the feeling they are entering a cheap diner. My role was to design the interior elements that built up the space. I designed the space with the Senior Architect as furniture elements such as the counter desk. I took contact with authorities to deal for permissions and I took contact with suppliers to chose elements of the design.

RURAL HOME Rennovation plan - Italy

This rural building is situated in the countryside of Italy close to the city of Bergamo. The assignment was to create a family residence and a studio out of one of the half of the building. Pictures show some views on the outside of the building before and after the construction works. I worked with the Senior Architect on the restructuring plan of the building and visited the site several time to obtain measurements and information about the actual status of the building. I produced technical drawings and took care of the regulations involved for the several legal permissions. I also made a plan for the interior of the building following the client’s wishes. Here are shown the plan, few cross sections of the building and few photos of the “before and after” situation.

RESTROOM Interior design I designed the interior space of the bathroom in response to a request of a client in Italy. The space counts more than 20 sqm within a 400sqm of villa situated in Bergamo, north of Italy. The design aims to enhance existing elements of the space such as the mansard roof and the amazing existing squared shape windows. The generous budget allowed me to use high quality and elegant materials such as teak wood and marble. The mini pool is the central element of the space and also the main design reference for the especially designed containers where toilet and sinks are hosted. Here are some design sketches of the elements and some photos of the actual space. The client was very satisfied.
