Magnates intensifies prep
Apolinario D. Macabulos, Educational Program Supervisor I and Panabo City Sports Coordinator, magnified the Magnates’ targets to escalate the number of golds this year after gaining only 22 in DAVRAA 2018.
The plight of the entire delegation for DAVRAA 2018 prompted the 61-year-old sports coordinator to set up working strategies to get back the victory they once lost.

In a short acquaintance, Macabulos said “Honestly, I felt embarrassed upon getting the final number of golds held by Panabo City Delegation last year. This was the reason why analyses of training plans and intensive practices were given great emphasis this year,” he added.
Two of the highlighted disciplines to be given intensive training were Gymnastics and Archery. These events were the major contributors of golds during DAVRAA Meet 2017 in Mati, Davao Oriental.
“The failure of our freshmen gymnasts to seize the six golds previously acquired was their incapacity to outstrip the opponents’ skills and artistry considering their age,” relayed Mr. Macabulos.
Macabulos expressed the disappointment brought by the zero gold of the archers in last year’s Meet in Davao. It activated the aspirations of the sports coordinator to increase the drive to retrieve the laurels they acquired one year ago. However, it is very important to realize the causes of failures and strengthen the areas that need to be rectified. #LenyPasaje
