Support Kennedy Krieger’s Child Life and Recreation Therapies Department
This GivingTuesday, December 3, be a beacon of hope for the children at Kennedy Krieger Institute. Your generosity can make a world of difference for our patients and their families.
The Child Life and Recreation Therapies Department at Kennedy Krieger provides essential services that ease the hospital experience for our patients. From offering kids emotional support and education about their medical procedures to engaging them in activities like games, crafts and music therapy, we help patients navigate their hospital journeys with confidence and joy.
Your donation supports our patients’ emotional well-being, development and rehabilitation. Together, we can ease children’s fears and anxiety and bring smiles to young faces!

Thank you so very much for joining us for our 35th annual Festival of Trees! All of us at Kennedy Krieger Institute are excited to bring you a fun-filled event to usher in another holiday season.
Festival of Trees is Kennedy Krieger’s largest fundraising event of the year. Since its inception in 1990, we’ve welcomed more than one million visitors and raised more than $27 million to help the 27,000plus children, teens and adults, along with their families, we serve each year in our clinical, school and community programs. The proceeds also support our innovative research mission, which is to improve lives for countless others around the world. By attending Festival of Trees and perhaps buying a tree, wreath or gingerbread house or participating in the raffle, you truly brighten the lives of children and their families, all year round.
Please check out all the designer-decorated trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses and, of course, our holiday marketplace. The raffle items this year are simply amazing—from fun experiences to sports memorabilia to restaurant packages—find it all at Festival of Trees!
There is still time to purchase a toy online from our Amazon Wish List and have it sent directly to Kennedy Krieger. Visit the Toy Drive section of the Festival of Trees website at KennedyKrieger.org/Toy for more details.
During this season of gratitude and giving, I want to thank you so much for helping kids right here in Maryland, as well as across the Mid-Atlantic region, throughout the U.S. and around the world. We’re so very grateful for your support.
Wishing you and yours a happy and safe holiday season.
Enjoy the Festival fun!

(This is also an ideal space for mothers looking for a quiet place to nurse.)
• Wheelchair-accessible carousel so that everyone can enjoy the festival fun!
• Priority seating areas for individuals with disabilities. These areas are in the food court
• Noise-reduction headphones (limited supply) are available to borrow during your visit. Please visit the Information Booth for details.
