Glare is the number one spoiler of a lighting portrait. The eye is automatically drawn to glare, thus taking away from the overall vision. Glare is easily eliminated with the proper fixture. Use a fixture that includes some sort of glare elimination device. These include a rotating hex louver, shroud, and lenses

that either eliminates glare or tone down the intensity. All of these are part of a Lifetime Lighting Systems fixture.
