Everyone “Discovering Great American Artists” Art Show Friday, December 1Sunday, December 31 Visit the Children’s Department to view artwork created by homeschool students who attended the November “Discovering Great American Artists” series of art programs. Students learned about artists Mary Cassatt, Edward Hopper, Jacob Lawrence, and Louise Nevelson and created artwork in the style of that artist.

School Age Sunday, December 3, 2-3 pm Help gain reading confidence by reading aloud to a real therapy dog from Therapy Pets of Greater Cincinnati. These gentle dogs will sit patiently and listen while your child works on their literacy skills. Every child in attendance will be entered to win a book and a plush dog of their very own!

Ticket to Ride for Beginners
School Age Thursdays, December 14, 6:30-8 pm Easy to learn and quick to play, Ticket to Ride: First Journey is the perfect introduction to the Ticket to Ride board game series. Players collect train cards, claim routes on the map, and try to connect the cities shown on their tickets to achieve victory.
