This presentation will address the history of the many contributions of the Black community to the martial arts in the United States, along with a demonstration of techniques. There will also be an opportunity for participants who are interested to try some exercises and drills taken from traditional martial arts. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Cincinnati shares an interesting history with some of our presidents. This program describes the success and failures and the personal and humorous sides of William Henry Harrison, his grandson Benjamin Harrison, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, and William Howard Taft. Pizza lunch from Snappy Tomato Pizza will be provided to those registered, but anyone may attend the talk.
