Low Cost Cat Spay/ Neuter Program Thursday, October 22, 6:30-7 am For cats only! The Ohio Alleycat Resource will be bringing their mobile spay/neuter unit to the Covington Library. Drop off your cat on Thursday, October 22, between 6:30-7 am and pick them up on Friday, October 23, at 9 am. For Kenton County residents the cost is $30, which covers both the surgery and the required rabies vaccine if your pet is not up-to-date on vaccinations. Those outside of Kenton County should contact OAR directly to ask about cost: (513) 871-0185. If you are bringing in a feral or stray cat, and are eartipping that cat, there is no charge. Please bring your cat in a secure carrier, cash or check for payment, and proof of a rabies vaccine if your cat is up to date.

RAD: Rape Aggression Defense* Mondays, October 5, 12, 19, 26, 6-9 pm RAD, which stands for Rape Aggression Defense, is a nationally recognized self-defense class taught exclusively to women. The course is suitable for women of all ages and abilities and includes lecture, discussion, and selfdefense techniques. The class consists of 12 hours of instruction typically separated into four, three-hour sessions. There is no fee to attend the class.

A Sampling of 20th Century Art History
Homeschoolers ages 9-12 Tuesdays, October 13, 20 & 27, 1:30-2:30 pm Each week students will experience the art of specific 20th century artists including Picasso, Lichtenstein, Hopper, Dali, Warhol, Chihuly and Calder. Students will also learn about color theory and why we do art. Students will spend most of the hour making an art project in the style of the artist studied that week.
