Clarification on KPA Internship Programme Financial Year 20192020 We would like to clarify information regarding the recently advertised recruitment of interns at the Kenya Ports Authority. The Authority advertised Fifty (50) internship vacancies for the financial year 2019-2020 in the print media (MyGov) on 20th August 2019. Applicants were to submit their applications online before September 2, 2019 by visiting the Kenya Ports Authority Careers portal https://kpa.co.ke/Careers/Pages/default.aspx. However, we wish to inform the public that we have since halted the recruitment process directly, to give room to the Public Service Commission to execute the recruitment of interns in accordance to the new government approach whereby the Commission is mandated to coordinate the recruitment exercise of interns for all Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (Public Service Commission Circular dated August 1, 2019). Once again, we reiterate that KPA continues to remain transparent and an equal opportunity organization in its recruitment process.
