URBAN DESIGN TRANSFORMATION OF PERMEABLITY IN BHANGEL ABSTRACT Bhangel is an urban village located in NOIDA,which was formed as a result of lack of housing for the service personel in the planned area . The main aim of the project was to critically analyse the present fabric of streets and study the impact of how permeability acts as norm and making it more permeable results in solving the present issues.

Introduction The entire town is spread in 2 miles, the population of city has not been officially accounted and declared by respective authorities but as per the estimates and considering the overall population of Noida it would have between 2-3 lakh people living anytime here. The people living here are inhabited here from different province of the country, however indigenous inhabitants of this place belongs to Tyagi Brahmin community which is more in population then any cast. The locality is well connected to Noida Expressway, which makes travel to Delhi comfortable.

History Bhangel is well known city of Noida (Heart Of Noida) near to SUNWORLD VANALIKA 107, the town has been earlier known in the name of Begumpur and now become one of the most populated place in Noida region, the density of population here is due to proximity of Industrial zone situated just few miles away from this place. People from across the country come for in the search of better job opportunity and prefer to live here.

Methodology Aim -To critically analyse fabric of streets with respect to the contextual relationship between people and the built form and to suggest a model design to improve connectivity in Bhangel . Objective *The proposal aims to critically analyse existing streets as a socio cultural component to enhance the quality of urban life . *Study the street as a public space to different typological context. *To develop street model design to strengthen identity of city .

1-Identify Connection oppurtunities

2-The connection options form the basis for the main Strategic links

Dissertation -Parametricism in formation of environmentally responsive building skins A B S T R A C T This Style falls under contemporary Avant garde Architecture and is a successor to the post’s modern architecture .Term “PARAMETRICISM” was coined by Patrick Schumacher in year of 2008 an architectural partner with Late Zaha Hadid( 1950-2016).Parametricism means the idea of parameters .In today’s information rich environment almost everything can be quantified and calculated and thus the idea of Parametricism is the connection of art ,technology and aesthetics through a series of ideas .This research paper aims to study the use of Parametricism in the formation of environmentally responsive building skins . To decipher a method which uses certain parameters for a particular project which become the basis for problem solving for that process and thus having the formulation of guidelines. The hypothesis to be attained is Parametricism as a solution for the future of architecture having methods in order to solve design problems with more efficiency and more expression. The very use of technology helps to get a variety of options and also saves on the time for a more efficient design. The study of formation of façade development of a hotel which can also cover the typology of other building types such as museums ,cultural centers . 1. Introduction Theories help Architecture to evolve and transform along the way of time .The theory of parametericism tends to drift away from the basics of modern architecture such as ‘form follows function’,’purity of form’. and ‘Structural honesty’.The study leads an analytical approach based on selected parameters .The parameters are based on design considerations inclusive of space programming ,solar orientation and quality of view .The observation derived from the study helps in critical appreciation of theories of Parametricism through the works of renowned architects . Aim The aim is to Identify the use of Parametricism in the formation of environmentally responsive building skins . Objective •To find out how Parametricism is a self referential system in which all the elements are interlinked to one another and how any outside influence which changes one alters all the others . •To understand the evolution of Parametricism as the next level of Post modernism. •Incorporation of principles in order to form environmentally responsive building skins
