EVENT GUIDE
Welcome to Silver City Thank you for joining us for the 3rd Annual Southwest Print Fiesta. We are so glad you could join us in continuing a new tradition that highlights original prints, the artists who create them, and the people who collect them. This year, we are excited to have Power & Light Press partner with us to create this inspiring occasion to celebrate the art of print making. We are also collaborating with the Silver City Art Association's Red Dot Weekend at the Galleries to encourage art lovers and art buyers to Getaway to Silver City. If you are visiting, welcome to Silver City, a town rich in history, that includes Billy the Kid, Madame Millie, Butch Cassidy, Geronimo, and Cochise. You are in the homeland of the artistic Mimbres Mogollon Indians whose beautiful black-on-white pottery designs can be seen as an inspirational precedent to the print making aesthetic. Silver City is an amazing treasure that has more than 20 galleries, artist studios, coffee shops, eateries, and the incomparable Gila National Forest. You may want to stay an extra day or two!
