The brief of the project was to design landscape for the farmhouse. The design considerations was it had to be organic that blends with the farmhouse which is under construction. As the farmhouse is rentable to multiple users at once, the space had to be thought in the same order.

Firstly, we researched about the organic landscapes and rustic vernacular designs. Then, I started collecting the references which can be incorporated in the design. They had to be innovative and unique

The aim of the design was to provide an organic landscape which directly blends with the natural land. Landscape must be universal and every user must be able to use it. Putting it in mind, we proposed ramps which not only makes the space more functional but also adds organic value. APPROACH-Outofthefourtrends, I chose “SOLO COMMERCE”. It meant to provide working environment at home. In the mood board, the white forest couch complements the backdrop of pista cream painted wall. The bohemian lampshades gives a homely environment where the arced bookshelf will make the interior look moreoverwhelming.

On the event of colornext 2022, Asian paints declared Transcendent pink as the “Color of the year.” However, there were 4 trends for this year. Each trend consisted of diﬀerent shades of colors and materials. Choosing one aamongthe4trends,wehadtomakemoodboard.

Asian Paints Nepal successfully organised Color Next 2022 atHyattRegencyinKathmandu,onJune 3, 2022 which saw participation from well-known Thetrendstogetherfashion,creativeteamlifestylebeenAssociationNepalesearchitectsandinteriordesignersincludingSocietyofArchitects(SONA)andInteriorDesignersNepal(IDEANepal).Asianpaintshavestudyingcolouranditsvariedinfluencesonsince2003.Eachyear,it’scolourmarketingcollaborateswithexpertsfromarangeofdisciplines-architecture,art,interiors,sociology,mediaandFMCG-toputColourNext,acomprehensiveforecastofincolours,materials,texturesandfinishes.programinitiatedwithawelcomespeechfrom Pragyan Kumar (CEOofAsianPaintsGlobal)where he spoke about the journey of Asian Paints upto becoming the 3rd largest company in Asia and programnumber1paintinIndiaandNepal.Furthermore,theproceededwithabriefspeechfrom Sireesh Rao (RegionalHeadofAsianPaintsGlobal) about their business not just only in paints but also in decor. He gave some insights on Kaleidoscope andyearwheretheytakestudentsideainaliveprojecteveryandputitinpractisepartnershipwithSONAIDEA.Addingmore, Ashwini Deshpande (Co-founder and Director of Elephant design) spoke aboutdesigntrendsstating “ALL OF US MAKE THE TREND.” She gave a short teaser about the trendingscolorsthroughtheirresearch. Trend is defined by the current issues; relationships and emotional, social and financial situations, human behaviors, interest, rising global issues and even the pandemics.

The trend researches were done through digital medium in 2022 where they had 50+ interactions with industry experts, multiple collaborative workshops to ﬁnd the emerging color palettes. The aim was to understand how our society responds to colour whether it be socio economic trends or lifestyle patterns. Based on research the trend for 2022 was categorised into four types: Focus on mental health Metaverse, crypto, nft 3. Flexibility in work Breaking gender barriers

3. Solo Commerce

Transcendent Pink was announced to be the colour of the year 2022. It embraces our challenges and imperfections, but not to be bound by them. It has a mature transitional quality, like our ever-experiencing consciousness. A combination of blue and red, this greyish tone represents a mind that has the ability to synthesise new knowledge and old wisdom, and harnessboth.

2022 The agenda of the program was not only embraceofabouttrendsbutalsotointroducethecolortheyear2022.Itwasthecolorthatwouldthemoodoftheyear.

This pensive mid-tone palette of colours represents the maturity, empathy and a vulnerability that one truly feels when unpacking complicateddeelings.

This mature and energetic palette expresses qualities of self-motivation, respect, empowermentandfreedom.

The design of the furniture begins from the entry. The whole compartment of the rack is adjustable so that the user could adjust the rack according to their convenience. The entry to the house is supposed from the left side.

Approaching the house, there is a removable compartment which can be used as seating. Above it, wet umbrellas can be kept. The water from the umbrella is directed to the plant in the second column. Above toraincoattheplant,thereisacompartmentforfromwhichwaterfallsdowntheplant.

Between them there is a screen which prevents the mud from the raincoat to enter into the plant. The plant is also chosen very carefully.
