Letter form your Lt.G Hello everyone! I hope all of you are having a great summer o’ mighty orcas. In this heat it finally feels like summer, yet in a blink of an eye the school will begin once again, but it’s okay! In the few weeks we have left, I challenge you to think of the ways to increase membership in your clubs this year. Lets show the incoming Freshman how great Key Club really is. Also thank you to everyone who participated in service projects during summer. You have spared your free time for us and used it for good. It’s thanks to people like you that Key Club exists! I hope to see you all soon. In service and love, Alina Mirgorodskaya

Officer Training Dear officers, Congratulations on being elected for the position you are in. It is amazing to be working with all of you, but you must still have so many questions. It is very important for you to know about your tasks inside out before the school starts. To insure it, we will be having a meeting where I will be teaching you about being an officer so all of you could strive in the future.

When: Saturday 26th at 1:00 p.m. Where: To Be Added

Relay for Life A Team Event to Fight Cancer Relay For Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running around a track or path at a local high school, park, or fairground. Events are up to 24 hours long, and because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have at least one participant on the track at all times. Our event is held at Kelso High School on August 12th. I am very excited to participate with all of you guys who signed up. Once it’s done, please send me pictures of the event, I’d like to have a featured page in my next newsletter. Thank you to everyone who are going and a huge round of applause to R.A. Long for planning it all, especially Sally Morehead! Because of you guys we are one step closer to ending cancer for good. Way to go 42 Valley!

Until Next Time!
