CHAIR’S REPORT A year ago, I reported on how The Shaw had managed to navigate the 2020 Covid shutdown. While we were only able to put on a few outdoor and holiday concerts late in the year, we did manage to maintain almost all of our workforce throughout 2020 and stay connected with our patrons and communities. At the time of our annual meeting in March of 2021, we were hopeful that the Covid restrictions would soon be a thing of the past and we had a full 2021 season planned and in preparation. Unfortunately, shortly after that, new waves of Covid struck bringing new restrictions in the spring and again at the end of the year. Remarkably, these new challenges did not slow our wonderful Shaw team down. We had to cancel our planned musical, Gypsy, and move a couple of other planned productions, but, in the end, we managed to put on what we believe was the largest theatre season in North A merica for 2021, delivering over 4 45 performances of 17 separate productions and concert series on six stages (three outdoor and three indoor) to 48,750 people, while under various restrictions, from early July, through December. Added to this were over 2350 separate Education and Outreach offerings, both live and digital, to 54,750 people. Notwithstanding these extreme challenges, we once again posted a financial surplus for the year and strengthened The Shaw’s financial position. I am particularly pleased by the 18% growth year-over-year in The Shaw’s endowment. These results are a testament to the unending efforts of our management and the whole Shaw team, and the ongoing wonderful support from our donors and patrons. Our principal concern through all this has been the safety of our artists, staff and audiences. We almost made it through the year with no Covid cases. Unfortunately, at the last

minute, we had an outbreak of the Omicron variant in the company that caused the cancellation of the final 15 performances of the season. I am so proud of the way everyone connected to The Shaw – artists, artisans, technicians, administrators, patrons, volunteers, communities and supporters – have approached the challenges of the last two years with a sense of optimism. Led by our Tims – Tim Carroll and Tim Jennings – and our Board, we have constantly focused on what we could do, not what we were prevented from doing. I am grateful for the thoughtful, caring, effective and tireless efforts that have guided us. The power of our art and the need for theatre has never been made clearer. We have been powerfully reminded of theatre’s role in creating deeper connections between all of us. As I finish the final days of my 5-year tenure as Shaw’s Board Chair, I look back on the time with great pride. To see how far we have come, the stability – financial and institutional – that we have achieved, and the remarkable variety of art that has been created is staggering. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to be part of it. It is with great joy that I now pass the torch on to our incoming Chair, Ian Joseph. Ian has been a terrific leader for us over many years, as a supporter, a rapt audience member and as chair of our capital asset planning and EDI committees. I know he will lead us forward to great things. Thank you all for everything you do ensure the ongoing success of The Shaw. I am delighted you are on this journey with us! peter jewett

INCOMING CHAIR’S REPORT I am delighted to assume the role of incoming Board Chair for this wonderful organization. Since joining the Board in 2017 I have enjoyed chairing the Capital Asset Planning Committee and both our 2017 and 2020 Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Taskforces. In each case, working alongside my fellow board members, the staff, and our artists, I have been inspired by the thoughtfulness, openness, and clarity of purpose that they continue to demonstrate.

I sincerely thank Peter Jewett, our outgoing Chair. Peter led the search that hired TC, and he has guided the Board through the last five years with exemplary leadership, dedication, and engagement. I have given him fair notice that I will be calling extensively on his expertise as past chair and ongoing Board member during our transition and beyond. I can only strive to be half the champion Peter has been for The Shaw.

I especially commend the EDI taskforce, made up of artists, board, and staff for their work over last year. I applaud the seventeen new recommendations of the Taskforce that we made public last October. Notable amongst those recommendations immediately implemented was the appointment of Khan Bouba-Dalambaye to the newly created role of Shaw’s Inclusion and Wellness Facilitator.

I also thank Kevin Patterson, our previous Treasurer, and Colleen Johnston, our outgoing Board Secretary, as well as departing board member Eugene Lundrigan. Their contributions will be missed. Finally, I offer profound thanks to all my colleagues on the Board for their hard work throughout the tumult and disruption of the past two years. I know we will set out on this new passage and landmark season imbued with purpose because of your diligence, commitment, and optimism.

Khan is a clinical psychologist with a specialty in anti-bias practice. He worked as a consultant with the constituent groups of the Taskforce as well as the Guild through late 2020 and early 2021 before joining the team in July. I direct you to The Shaw’s website on Equity and Inclusion for more on this at www.shawfest.com/about/edi/#the-shaw-s-edi-taskforce A vision for the future of The Shaw has evolved under the leadership of TC and Tim Jennings, along with the dynamic Kimberley Rampersad. It is a vision – supported by the various committees of the Board – of a more deeply connected Shaw Festival; one that values and encourages more interaction between our audiences, artists, and communities. We will be speaking about much more on this subject in the months to come. Stay tuned!

Thank you all for your dedication and support of The Shaw! I look forward to seeing you this summer! ian joseph

THE DEVIL’S DISCIPLE

by Bernard Shaw, directed by Eda Holmes, set designed by Michael Gianfrancesco, costumes designed by Gillian Gallow, original music by Paul Sportelli. Chick Reid as Ann Dudgeon, Martin Happer as Richard Dudgeon and Graeme Somerville as Reverend Anthony Anderson.

“As director Eda Holmes’s new production of The Devil’s Disciple at the Shaw Festival slowly tightened its grip on me, I felt for the first moment since the pandemic began that theatre was truly back – with no compromises.” the globe and mail

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT If you ask me why I work in the theatre, I can answer easily that it is the art. It is the people. It is the impact of the art on people. This season was a brilliant reminder to me of all these. The perseverance and dedication of our artists and audiences. The tears at every performance; speaking to profound joy and desperation for reclamation of a missing piece of ourselves – sharing that common empathic experience and coming away knowing that art is necessary.

As Peter noted earlier, TC and Kimberley led our artists in creating what turned out to be North America’s largest season of live theatre. It was a momentous season even for a normal year – which this was decidedly not. In the end, we did lose 303 scheduled performances – but with each loss, the team would push again to add another piece and devise some new and exciting program to reconnect us with each other. It was truly remarkable.

My faith in theatre as serving basic human and societal needs has never been brighter. I think more of our audience now feel that same way and I am so thankful to everyone who supported us through this last two years.

Thank you to TC and Kimberley for their leadership, and thank you to our whole Shaw management team, all of our staff and Guild members, our sponsors and all four of our amazing boards for their continued belief in us and in our vision for a more deeply connected world through theatre.

Thanks again to the ongoing support of our amazing donors, combined with ticket sales, our excellent government support programs and continued coverage by our interruption insurance, I am happy to report we have posted a positive year-end result of $113,891 having taken in just over $26,632 Million in total revenues. Added to this was a significant increase in our Endowment Foundation holdings of over $6.1 million in permanently endowed and donor restricted funds, and related investment earnings. These bring the Endowment to a year-end value of $39.3 Million, which allows our annual grant from the Foundation to now exceed $1 Million every year going forward. My most profound satisfaction has come from our ability to have maintained employment and contracts for almost every one of our 550+ staff and artists throughout the last two years. So many people have not been so fortunate. To know this place offered our team stability and shelter from some of the ravages the pandemic has made on our industry makes it a lot easier to face these daily challenges.

Particularly, I want to thank our outgoing executive Board members – Chair Peter Jewett, Secretary Colleen Johnston and Treasurer Kevin Patterson for their work and dedication in making us a stronger organization – and to welcome incoming Chair Ian Joseph, Treasurer Greg Prince and Secretary Liz Dipchand, as well as continuing Vice Chair Tim Price, for agreeing to lead us forward into our 60th and largest season ever! And I want to thank you. Thank you for your dedication and support and hope. If you are reading this, you are deeply interested in theatre and in the experience of sharing a story with a room full of other curious, intelligent, and optimistic people and that makes me confident that this world – even with all its craziness – is going to be just fine. See you soon! tim jennings

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR’S REPORT We learnt a lot in 2020; we learnt even more in 2021. It was a year of miracles. In the first year of the pandemic, we discovered a great deal about finding solutions while being almost unable to perform. Most of what we learnt, inevitably, was about the potential of the digital sphere: what it was good for – engaging our audience, providing insight into creative processes - and what it wasn’t: conveying the excitement of live performance. When we finally got to inperson concerts, the experience was almost overwhelming. And then 2021 brought so many new challenges as we learnt the Greek alphabet. But at least our starting baseline allowed for live performance; we just couldn’t be indoors. And here the first miracle: in the course of a meeting I said ‘ Well, to do what I have in mind, we need to build three outdoor playing spaces.’ I know memory plays tricks, but it feels as though it was the next day that Production Director Don Finlayson said ‘Like these?’ And there they were. So we set to work, with a ridiculously ambitious programme. So many memories will stay with me: the company running out of a little shed to make magic in our Fairgrounds and Shawgrounds; children and adults alike watching rapt as A Short History of Niagara unfolded before them; a stunning deep blue sunset over the Commons forming the backdrop for a magical jazz concert… I could go on. If the first miracle was the way Production rose to the challenge of creating the spaces, the second was the way that everyone – actors, designers, wardrobe, everyone – made all this happen. Not everything was improved by playing outdoors: neither of the two plays I staged worked as well outside as in the theatres for which they were designed. Charley’s Aunt and Flush both made the best of the circumstances but neither

blossomed till it played in the Royal George. Does this mean plays can’t work outdoors? Clearly not: The Devil’s Disciple had a fantastic run on The Nona Macdonald Stage in our car park. The nature of the play and Eda Holmes’ brilliant re-imagining of her production showed how the miracle could be achieved. Another miracle? The 2351 education and outreach events that were attended by 54,753 people. The Education and Development Departments go from strength to strength, in combination with The Shaw Link – a new initiative which started as a wellbeing resource for the company, and expanded to reach outwards too. Many of our Friends are still going to their regular online events; yet another incentive to become a member. One of the leading lights in the Shaw Link is Kiera Sangster, who has been able to contribute all year, as one of our trial group of eleven Shaw Embedded Artists. This initiative, which we hope to expand, is unique in Canada, offering full-time artist employment and making life a little more settled for a profession that is notoriously precarious. And finally: you know what might be the greatest miracle of all? The work was good. I mean, really good. Many people said to me, ‘I was so excited to be there, I wouldn’t have minded if it hadn’t been all that great – but it was so good!’ The number of you that came, and sustained our spirits with your love and enthusiasm: that was another miracle. But perhaps the biggest is yet to come: because in 2022 we will combine all that outdoor joy with a full indoor season. We are up for the challenge. tim carroll

DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS by Eugene O’Neill, directed by Tim Carroll, set design by Judith Bowden, costume design by Joyce Padua, lighting design by Kevin Lamotte, music direction, original music and sound design by Claudio Vena, movement and intimacy directed by Alexis Milligan. Julia Course as Abbie Putnam and Johnathan Sousa as Eben Cabot.

“It is a major gift to theatre-lovers that The Shaw has staged this play in so fine a production. It helps us understand not just the tensions of the period in which it was written but the genius of one of the 20th century’s greatest playwrights.” stage-door.com

SHERLOCK HOLMES and THE RAVEN’S CURSE by R. Hamilton Wright, based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, directed by Craig Hall, designed by Ken MacKenzie, lighting designed by Michelle Ramsay, projections designed by Cameron Davis, original music and sound designed by John Gzowski, fights directed by John Stead. Marla McLean as Beatrice, Donna Soares as Fiona MacKenzie, Damien Atkins as Sherlock Holmes and Chick Reid as Nanny Bull.

“Damien Atkins plays Holmes as even more of an eccentric, unable to stop the whirlwind happening in his brain. He’s like 5G in a world of dial-ups, able to deduce your career and marital status from a simple handshake.” niagar a falls review

ASSOCIATE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR’S REPORT The technique of ballet provides dancers with the parameters within which they work. Something magical happens when we behold an artist who both honours the technique and tests it with their artistic master y. A nd the work has more meaning because of this. 2020 presented us with the pa ra meters of C ov id-19 i n which we were to make theatre. Armed with science, protocols, and common sense, 2021 saw us test Covid-19 with less trepidation and more confidence. And the work had more meaning. The theatrical experiences at the Shaw Festival deepened because we understood that every person present and involved had to invest more effort than ever before to show up.

He a lt h concer ns, a n x iet ie s, accountability to our personal communities were the considered parameters we tested as we gathered. To meet other people who weighed these concerns in line, in the rehearsal halls, in wardrobe, in the carpentry and props shops, in the buildings and loading docks, and on the stages for the opportunity to see only laughing eyes, to share ‘air hugs’ with a familiar human, to cherish muffled laughter from under masks as muted bells was sunlight for our souls. As we welcome the 2022 season and our 60th anniversary, I hope we will pursue this deepening of theatre, of community and of connection. kimberley r ampersad

CHRISTOPHER NEWTON JUNE 11, 1936 – DECEMBER 20, 2021

We mourn the death of Christopher Newton, our former artistic director, who died peacefully on the morning of December 20, 2021, at the age of 85. Actor, stage manager, playwright, artistic director – Christopher made a momentous impact and life-long contributions to the Canadian theatre landscape and performing arts. He served as our artistic director from 1979 until 2002.

Christopher brought a new vitality and mandate to the Shaw Festival and was instrumental in re-examining the works of forgotten playwrights such as Granville Barker and J.B. Priestley. His programming mixed lesserknown playwrights and Canadian playwrights like Merrill Denison with well-known favourites including Shaw, Oscar Wilde and Noël Coward.

“It is no ex ag gerat ion to say t hat, w it hout Christopher Newton, there would be no Shaw Festival today,” stated Artistic Director Tim Carroll. “He set a very high standard in everything he did, and long after his retirement as artistic director in 2002 he continued to be a passionate supporter of the festival and the arts. He was an inspiring mentor to young artists and an unfailingly generous source of advice and encouragement to me. I will miss him.”

In addition to developing distinctive Shaw Festival seasons, Newton established The Shaw as having one of the foremost acting ensembles in North America and artist training through The Academy (now known as The Slaight Family Academy).

“ Christopher’s f irst season at The Shaw saw my parents bring me to my first show here,” reminisced Executive Director Tim Jennings. “ Seeing his programs over the years ignited my own interest in the theatre and in having a career in it. I thank him for that and will miss his presence and visits.” Born in England and educated at Sir Roger Manwood’s School in Kent, the University of Leeds and Purdue University in Indiana, he earned a Master of Arts from the University of Illinois. He made the move to Canada in 1961 and began his acting career with the Canadian Players, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Shaw and Stratford Festivals, and on Broadway before founding Theatre Calgary in 1968 and serving as Artistic Director until 1971, before continuing west, where he took over as artistic director of the Vancouver Playhouse and, with his friend and mentor, the late Powys Thomas, established the Playhouse Acting School in 1975. He was appointed the Shaw Festival’s artistic director in 1979, and directed many of the Festival’s major works during his 23 seasons.

As a major statesman of the arts in Canada, he forged many international alliances between The Shaw and other theatre companies including the Bolshoi Dramatic Theatre in St Petersburg; Stary Theatre in Krakow; Abbey Theatre in Dublin; and Melbourne Theatre Company in Melbourne. He was also instrumental in establishing the annual International Repertory Theatre Conference and initiated The Shaw’s “Toronto Project”, which established relationships with Tarragon Theatre, Factory Theatre, Young People’s Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille and Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. In addition to his responsibilities as artistic director, Christopher continued to flex his acting muscles here in plays like A Flea in her Ear, The Philanderer, Cyrano de Bergerac, Private Lives, Present Laughter, and as a memorable Captain Hook in Peter Pan. After leaving Shaw, Christopher continued to direct both opera and theatre, mentor students and support arts organizations. His postFestival credits include directing The Turn of the Screw and Albert Herring (Canadian Opera Company); The Innocent Eye Test and The Audience (Manitoba Theatre Centre and Royal Alexandra Theatre), Macbeth (Theatre Calgary), The Price (Theatre Aquarius) and Glorious! (Canadian Stage, Arts Club, Belfry

“The more information we exchange, the more we need to meet. And it is in our theatres that we see the present meeting the past, transforming the coded information of a playtext into the tactile experience of a performance, into laughter, into tears, and ultimately into that rarest of values, understanding.” CHRISTOPHER NEWTON

Theatre) Gaslight (Vertigo Theatre), Much Ado About Nothing (Stratford Festival) and Romeo and Juliet (Vancouver Playhouse). Mr. Newton also had extensive television, radio and film credits. He also wrote several stage plays including Slow Train to St. Ives, Trip, The Sound of Distant Thunder, and You Two Stay Here, The Rest Come With Me. He was named a Member, then Officer, of the Order of Canada and was the recipient of numerous prestigious accolades and awards including the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, the M. Joan Chalmers Award for Artistic Direction, the Gascon-Thomas Award from the National Theatre School, the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award for lifetime artistic achievement, an honorary Doctorate from the University of Toronto and honorary degrees from Brock University, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Guelph, Buffalo State University, Ryerson University and the Royal Conservatory of Music; the Molson Prize, the Toronto Arts Lifetime Achievement Award and the Thomas DeGaetani Award from the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT). In recognition for his tireless work cultivating and developing the Festival, the Board of Governors conferred on Chistopher the lifetime title of Artistic Director Emeritus in 2002. His contributions to the Shaw Festival and Canadian theatre at large were further recognized with the establishment of the Christopher Newton Interns Program that launched in 2018. He leaves behind his beloved husband Nicholas MacMartin and a company full of people who miss him deeply. A celebration of the life of Mr. Newton will be held at an appropriate time, and in consultation with his husband. The Shaw wishes to acknowledge and honour the land upon which we gather as the historic and traditional territory of First Nations peoples. In particular, we recognize and thank the Neutral Nation, the Mississauga and the Haudenosaunee for their stewardship of these lands over millennia. We also wish to thank all of the First Nations peoples in Canada, and the Indigenous peoples of the United States, for their ongoing and important roles in the caretaking of the lands beneath our feet, wherever we travel on Turtle Island.

SHAW FESTIVAL THEATRE ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION The Endowment Foundation was formed in 2003 under the chairmanship of Anthony R. Graham, a Past Chair of the Shaw Festival Theatre, Canada. It is a separately incorporated entity in Canada. The Foundation is a registered charitable organization and a public foundation whose objects are to receive, hold and maintain one (1) or more funds and to transfer from time to time all or part of the income therefrom and the capital thereof [unless endowed by the contributor] for the benefit of the Shaw Festival Theatre, Canada. The Foundation’s funds are used for the longterm support of the Shaw Festival. During 2019 the investment committee of the foundation solicited proposals from 10 investment firms and chose to change portfolio management. The new fund managers are Fiera Capital Corporation and RP Investment Advisors. A portion of the net income earned each year provides The Shaw with a reliable source of revenue for operations, and fosters initiatives such

as new play development and education programs. As the endowment grows, it is becoming a significant source of revenue through both prudent investment and continuing contributions from donors who appreciate that a healthy endowment is a sign of fiscal responsibility. Thanks to the generosity of many Shaw supporters and the Canadian Federal and Provincial endowment matching incentive programs, the Shaw Festival Endowment has grown to $39.3 million as of December 31, 2021. The Endowed Fund includes donor contributions, contributions from the Canadian Cultural Investment Fund of Heritage Canada, and contributions from the Ontario Arts Fund.

Gifts to the Endowment Foundation can be received from both Canadian and American donors.

HOLIDAY INN music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, book by Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge, directed by Kate Hennig, music direction by Paul Sportelli, choreography by Allison Plamondon, designed by Judith Bowden, lighting designed by Kevin Lamotte, sound designed by John Lott, fight direction by Kevin Kruchkywich. Kyle Blair as Jim Hardy and Kristi Frank as Linda Mason with the ensemble.

“Holiday Inn lives up to its desire to be a postcard to the Golden Age of Hollywood musicals and the light-hearted optimism of post-war America, transporting the audience to a time that is (mostly) free from care.” wholenote

PROFESSIONAL AND AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT: THE SLAIGHT FAMILY ACADEMY Now in its second decade, The Slaight Family Academy offers programs designed to inform, enrich and deepen The Shaw experience. Through the Academy, The Shaw provides professional in-season training for members of the company as well as apprenticeships for young actors, designers, directors, technicians and stage managers. Before the season begins, we program a two-week Intensive. In 2021, this was led by then Director of Artist Development, Kate Hennig, along with senior company members and visiting experts, designed to give young actors an immersion into the techniques of classical, ensemble theatre as well as an introduction into the political, social and cultural history of our namesake’s era and to help them create the bonds that make our ensemble so expert in their work. In late 2021, the Academy moved under the direction of Associate Artistic Director, Kimberley Rampersad. The Neil Munro Intern Directors Project, named for our late Associate Director, and under the direction of Associate Artistic Director Kimberley Rampersad, is designed to showcase the work of our two intern directors, as they direct a one-act play that is then designed, rehearsed and presented for audiences of company members, specially invited artistic directors and other theatre professionals and members of the Governors Council. Dozens of young directors from across the country apply each year to intern with us, and many of our graduates are now enjoying successful careers as freelance directors and artistic directors. This showcase has been produced for many years and is unique in Canada. This program is generously funded by an anonymous donor. Due to Covid constraints in their first year, the Neil Munro Intern Directors for 2020, Brenley Charkow and Rob Kempson, continued their internships through 2021. For our audiences we offer a range of programs, amplified by a significant investment in supporting Tim Carroll’s call for “a more

human, more connected theatre.” Throughout the performance season these activities include the Shaw Seminars, Teachers Days, Speakers Series, backstage tours, workshops, lectures, public readings and “Continue the Conversation” pre- and post-show discussions with members of the acting ensemble, the Guild and Shaw company members. For visiting school, university and special interest groups, we supplement the performances they attend with tours, workshops and discussions, and we offer drama school classes for 8 to 18-year-olds as well as adults. This activity is made possible by the generous support of The Slaight Family Foundation. The Slaight family has had a profound impact on The Shaw for decades, through their individual and collective generosity and leadership and in 2009 the Academy was renamed in their honour. Their support is two-fold: as well as a generous annual grant for operations, the Foundation is building a large endowment as a legacy gift. The endowment is growing rapidly thanks in part to matching funding from the Canadian government — ensuring the future sustainability of the Academy and its many programs. We are so proud to have the renewed support of The Slaight Family Foundation through 2028, to support this amazing series of programs. In addition to The Slaight Family Foundation gifts, The Shaw enjoys significant support for this important aspect of our work from the George Cedric Metcalf Charitable Foundation, the RBC Foundation and the RBC Emerging A rtists Project, Canada Life, The Jeffrey Marshall Fund for Student Engagement, Niagara Airbus, The Shaw Guild as well as the Christopher Newton Internship, generously sponsored by Marilyn and Charles Baillie. The 2021 Christopher Newton Intern was Olivia Sinclair-Brisbane.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL by Charles Dickens, directed by Molly Atkinson, adapted and originally directed by Tim Carroll, set and costumes designed by Christine Lohre, lighting designed by Kevin Lamotte, original music and original music direction by Paul Sportelli, music direction by Ryan deSouza, movement and puppetry by Alexis Milligan. Graeme Somerville as Scrooge.

“The must-see of Shaw’s very welcome holiday mini-season. I know – you’ve seen So Many Christmas Carols! See this one anyway. Staged with lush Dickensian style (courtesy of designer Christine Lohre), this Christmas Carol harnesses the power of practical stagecraft to create unforgettable theatrical moments.” myentertainmentworld.ca

Following the Covid-related cancellation of Gypsy, The Shaw made the decision to keep everyone on for the summer and used that team to create eight outdoor concert series, an outdoor run of Chitra in the Royal George Garden, and pioneered Shawgrounds and Fairgrounds, our outdoor multi-performance promenade events, where audiences moved through a series of artist-created offerings across the entire Festival grounds.

2021 DONORS *Shaw Company/ Ensemble member

The Shaw Festival cannot maintain our stature as one of the last great repertory ensemble companies of the English world without the support of thousands of generous donors. We receive grants and gifts from individuals, foundations, corporations and all levels of government. These contributions, from both Canada and the U.S., support our work in our multiple theatres, in the community and around the world, as well as securing our future through gifts to our Endowment Foundation. We are grateful to all our donors, and welcome gifts of any size. While we cannot list everyone who contributed in 2021, we acknowledge here our most generous contributors and thank you all for your commitment to ensuring that both The Shaw and live theatre are not just sustained through the present but nurtured for the future. In 2021, gifts received were $1 Million higher than in 2020. The incredible loyalty of our supporters, despite all barriers and border issues, is truly amazing – thank you!
