Hiring e-scooters for kids is illegal, parents warned ELECTRIC scooter riders have been warned against "dangerous, foolish and illegal" behaviour after a surge in complaints. An experimental scheme that allows people to hire and use e-scooters on the road, as an alternative to driving short distances, was extended to Hanham and Kingswood and other parts of South Gloucestershire in late March. Within days, reports began to multiply on social media of the Voi e-scooters being ridden on footpaths, cycle paths and in parks, and being left parked blocking pavements. Many of the complaints involve children using scooters anti-socially. The scooters can only be used by over-18s who have a full driving licence but South Glos councillor Ian Boulton said some adults were hiring them for their children, which was against the law. Operator Voi says the majority of incidents involve private e-scooters and not its machines. A police spokesperson said the force was policing e-scooter offences as part of regular neighbourhood patrols.

Hospital bus link faces new threat PATIENTS and staff travelling to Southmead hospital from Hanham and Kingswood face losing their only remaining bus route. The future of the number 17 bus could be at risk if costs for running the route go up. The current supported bus service contract for the Southmead to Keynsham service is due to end on 28th August this year. At the moment it is only certain to be maintained if tender costs remain the same. Kingswood Ward councillor Andrea Reid wrote an open letter to Stephen Reade, South Gloucestershire council cabinet member for Planning, Transport and Strategic Environment. He also sits on the transport board for the West of England Combined Authority, which has responsibilities for the region’s transport system. Cllr Reid wrote: “We would like to highlight how vital the number 17 bus is. “It is the only bus on this side of South Gloucestershire that runs to Southmead hospital, and is therefore an essential bus service providing residents with access to medical treatment. “It is the only bus that runs to Cossham hospital. Over the last couple of years we have seen a reduction of essential routes. For example, in 2019 we lost the bus route 19, which also served Southmead hospital.”

She included her own experience of insufficient bus services making it difficult to get to Yate minor injuries unit, then to Bristol Children’s Hospital, when her son was injured. She said: “This is a nightmare scenario for those with no transport of their own, or family/friends to drive them. “Taxi journeys of this distance are unaffordable for many families at the best of times, but when so many are struggling financially as a result of the pandemic this will be even more the case.” Cllr Reid raised concerns that people would call ambulances if buses weren’t available and that this would have a knock-on effect on all patients. Cllr Reid later posted that Cllr Reade had responded: “As you may know the bus service is controlled via WECA, SGC provide funding for some of the supported services.Commercial services are the remit of the bus companies and do not need to have regard for local authority voices. In my role on the WECA Transport board I champion all services that provide a vital service. As you know the funding is not limitless and WECA periodically go through the retendering process. “I will push in my role for the service to be kept. I have emailed WECA officers to be kept fully up to date with the tender process.”

Family buy ventilator in memory of Steve THE family of a man from Hanham who died from coronavirus last year have raised over £7,250 towards a new ventilator for the Intensive Care Unit at North Bristol NHS Trust. Steve Gay, 64, died on 12 May after five weeks at Southmead Hospital. Although his wife was able to be by his side at the end, his children had to say goodbye over FaceTime. This spring he would have celebrated his 65th birthday. His family say he was a healthy man with no underlying health conditions but were told by doctors he had one of the worst cases of the virus they’d seen. Since losing Steve, his loved ones have been determined to raise money through donations from the public to help provide a piece of life-saving equipment for other patients admitted to the same unit, where he spent the last few weeks of his life. In a socially distanced and

emotive ceremony, his children were able to return to North Bristol NHS Trust to hand over a £7,250 cheque to Southmead Hospital Charity, which supports patients, staff and families at the Trust’s hospitals. Philippa Carey, who works as an administrator for local community healthcare provider Sirona care & health, said her father would be so proud of them:

• Trusted reputation • Huge choice of doors, worktops appliances, sinks & taps

“We are so grateful to all the staff at Southmead Hospital who cared for our dad during the last few weeks of his life and this is our small way of saying thank you. “Our dad was the life and soul of the party and we miss him every single day however, fundraising in his memory has given us something to focus on whilst we continue to grieve and we know he would have been so

proud of us.” The money donated in Steve’s memory will help provide an MRI-compatible ventilator that will make it easier for patients in an induced coma to have an MRI scan. Hannah Jones from Southmead Hospital Charity said: “We know that coming back today was difficult for Philippa and her family. The generosity shown by those who knew and loved Steve is inspiring, and will create a powerful, lasting legacy for their beloved dad, helping many critically ill patients and the staff caring for them for years to come.”

School's loving tribute to caretaker Jayne CHILDREN at Our Lady of Lourdes school sang at the funeral of their beloved caretaker after she died from cancer. The funeral cortege for Jayne Walker pulled into the school grounds in Kingswood on its way to Westerleigh Crematorium so all the pupils could perform a special song prepared for the occasion. Pupils were joined by staff, neighbours and members of Our Lady of Lourdes church for their performance. Ms Walker had been employed as caretaker for 37 years before she died age 65, and her two sons attended the school. She had started out as a lunchtime supervisor before being asked to be a temporary caretaker until the school found a replacement. The ‘temporary’ role ended up earning her the accolade of the longest-serving member of staff in the school’s

Children at Our Lady of Lourdes school sing for the funeral procession history. Many remember her for looking after the school’s chickens, which she would take for a daily walk through the playground, to the delight of the children. She would pick up the birds and chat to them, and take them home with her if they were sick.

As well as traditional caretaker jobs such as gritting pathways and changing lightbulbs, Ms Walker also accompanied children on school trips and helped out at the school art club. The school has organised a collection of memories of Ms Walker. One member of staff

wrote: “She was selfless, kind and full of optimism, wise words and grounding advice. “Never did we part without her putting a smile on my face or a chuckle in my belly!” Executive headteacher Rita McLoughlin said: “Jayne epitomises everything we aspire to be at Our Lady of Lourdes. “We are proud that she regularly voiced her approval and praise for the community spirit we have and the team we are. She was, and always will be, an important part of that team. “Put simply, she is one of the very foundation stones of the school. Her humour and warmth radiated around the school. She was always busy and always thinking of others. “Generations of pupils and staff may come and go, but her unshaking love for our school will be her legacy.”

Back in business as Covid threat recedes HOSPITALITY businesses in Hanham and Longwell Green are set to reopen fully this month as the number of coronavirus cases in the area continues to fall. A total of 47 new cases were confirmed in South Gloucestershire in the week to April 20, down from 112 a month earlier. More than half of adults in the UK have now had at least one vaccination against Covid-19, reducing the risk of infection spreading. As of April 15 a total of 142,844 people in South Gloucestershire had been given a first dose of Covid-19 vaccination. Non essential shops reopened on April 12 and many pubs and cafes started serving customers outdoors. It is hoped that indoor eating and drinking can return from May 17. South Gloucestershire Council has handed out ‘Help us Thrive’ funding totaling

Don't miss out on your vaccination KINGSWOOD GP Dr Caroline Crentsil is at the forefront of a campaign to encourage homeless people, undocumented migrants and people from black and minority ethnic backgrounds to have their Covid jabs. Dr Crentsil , a GP at The Orchard Medical Centre, is also lead GP at the Haven, a service for asylum seekers and refugees in Montpelier. She said: “Undocumented migrants are more likely to be exposed to Covid-19 infection due to their living and working conditions. “But they are more likely to experience barriers to accessing healthcare, which can lead to undiagnosed and untreated conditions. “Many are also from ethnic minorities. This combination of factors can put them at greater risk of serious illness and even death should they catch Covid-19.” Charity worker Naseem Talukdar, who was £400,000 to community groups and businesses in South Gloucestershire to help traders recover. This includes a grant to Hanham High Street. Successful

involved with Feed the Homeless and organised food deliveries to people sleeping rough during the pandemic, has backed the campaign, urging people of Bangladeshi heritage to have their vaccinations. He said: “We are working to reach out to people who may be off the radar - yet because they move around a lot could be at high risk of spreading or catching infection.”

applications for grants were also made by HanhamCommunity Dance Show and the Eclectic gift shop. The council's cabinet member for communities Rachael Hunt

said: “It’s great to see so many community organisations and local businesses across the area receive funding, which will help our high streets recover and flourish again."

'Library of Things' KINGSWOOD is about to become host to Bristol’s first Library of Things. It will be opened on Kingswood High Street at the end of this month by the charity Share Bristol and will be a place where you can borrow the things you need to lead your lives. The Library of Things will also be somewhere you can donate things you no longer use, you can join in as a volunteer, and things can be repaired rather than ending up in landfill. But above all, organisers say, it will be a warm and welcoming place where everyone can come to borrow things and meet others. Judith Pope, co-founder of the community-focused, not-for -profit centre, said: “This is the first step in Share Bristol’s vision to see a network of these high street community hubs across the city. Whether it’s a drill for a DIY project, a tent for a family holiday or a chocolate fountain for a party, a Library of Things makes things affordable and accessible to all. "Sharing things in the community in this way can give affordable access for all, build a stronger sense of belonging in the community, make better use of our planet’s resources, clear our homes of clutter, and having this sharing taking place in Kingswood will help to create a more diverse high street." When you take out an annual membership, available at varying prices depending on your circumstances, you can then borrow anything from the Library of Things for free. If you want to support Bristol’s first Library of Things you can find out more at 1-3 High Street Kingswood and online at www. sharebristol.org.uk.

Eli, 5, strikes chord with autism poem A FIVE-year-old from Hanham has gone viral on the internet after recording a poem for Autism Awareness Week. Eli Smith, who is autistic, made the recording for his classmates at Beacon Rise primary school in Kingswood to help explain how autism makes him who he is. For example, he explained that he sometimes covers his ears because loud noises hurt them. Now the recording has gone viral across social media platforms, with ell over 50,000 people watching the video on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. The cute video shows little Eli performing in a backwards baseball cap and his school jumper. The poem, What Makes Me, ME!, has an upbeat message that the world would be boring if everybody were the same. Eli’s mum, Tracey, 41, wrote the poem for Eli to read out and never imagined it would explode in the way it has. She said: “To be honest it’s a bit overwhelming. We never expected it to have such an impact and Eli is lapping up the attention. “I wanted to do something really positive because so much that’s written about autism is a bit dark.

Poetry sensation Eli Smith, 5 “Eli’s really into space and was so excited when his hero, astronaut Tim Peake, posted the video on his Instagram Stories. “I think the poem’s done so well because it’s uplifting and helps explain autism to children of any age.” Tracey wrote each line of the poem on a separate card to hold up for Eli to read out, so as not to overwhelm him. One-year-old sister Millie was kept out of the room during the performance. His class at Beacon Rise, where Eli is supported by a one-to-one helper, loved watching the video and learning more about autism.

What makes me, ME! This poem is about my autism and how autism makes me, ME! Some things that you find easy, like talking about your day I find quite hard so sometimes may not answer right away And noises can sometimes hurt so much I cover up my ears So don’t worry when I do this, it just helps the way I feel I see the world quite differently but that doesn’t make it wrong The world would be so boring if we all sang the same song! Autism makes me who I am, it’s a special part of me And when I get my tricky days I have best friends in Class RG And everyone is different, that so much is true It’s the little things in all of us that really make you, YOU!

Volunteers start community kitchen HOT meals made for residents, by residents will make sure everyone in Kingswood and Hanham can eat dinner. The BS15 community kitchen is being set up and run by volunteers to offer evening meals to anyone who wouldn’t otherwise make one. The kitchen, which will use facilities on the High Street in Holy Trinity church hall, will make two hot meals each day. One will always be vegetarian, and recipes will include lasagne, chilli, pasta bake, sausage casserole and tagine. Meals will be pre-ordered online or by phone, and will be delivered or can be collected from the church hall between 5pm and 8pm, two nights a week. They will be offered on a ‘pay as you can’ basis, with people making any donations they wish to when they order the meal. Vicky Robinson from We Are BS15, the community organisation setting up the kitchen, said they hoped to open later this month. She said: “The community kitchen is run by the community, for the community and it’s there for anyone who needs it. “That might be a keyworker who’s just come

off a long shift and doesn’t have the energy to start cooking, or a parent who’s been busy looking after children and hasn’t had time to make themselves anything to eat. “It’ll also be useful for anyone who doesn’t have facilities to cook, for example if their oven breaks down. “There are so many reasons that people miss out on an evening meal and the community kitchen aims to plug that gap. “Hopefully in the future, once Covid restrictions lift, we’ll be able to set up an area at the hall where people from across the community can eat together if they want to.” The group, which Ms Robinson runs in conjunction with Reverend Beverley Charles of Holy Trinity church and a group of 15

volunteers, hopes around 50 to 100 people a week will benefit from the offer. Local businesses who can support with food donations are being asked to get involved with the project, as well as anyone with an allotment who has surplus produce. We Are BS15 is also trying to set up community allotments, because existing plots have long waiting lists. Ms Robinson said: “We have already secured a plot behind the church hall and we’re looking at other places too. “We’d like one of the sites to consist of raised beds so that people with mobility issues can access it. We’re also offering to help if anyone has an existing allotment that’s become a bit too much for them but they don’t want to get rid of it altogether.” The group is crowdfunding £5,000 to run the kitchen for the first six months. Donations can be made at www.justgiving. com/crowdfunding/we-are-bs15 Businesses and volunteers able to help out with supplying or running the kitchen can get in touch via the website at www.wearebs15. co.uk

Star Wars treasures under hammer IN a business park not so far away, Star Wars fans can get their hands on more than £80,000 worth of memorabilia this month. More than 700 items that belonged to Bristolian actor David Prowse, who died in November, are being auctioned off at East Bristol Auctions in Hanham Business Park. The souvenirs of the Darth Vader actor will be sold on May 4 – often called Star Wars Day because it sounds similar to catchphrase, “May the force be with you.” Among the high-ticket items are the original script from The Empire Strikes Back, released in 1980, where Vader reveals he is Luke Skywalker’s father. However, the famous line, “No, I am your father,” doesn’t appear in the script. Andrew Stowe, auctioneer at East Bristol Auctions, said: “My spine tingled when I first saw the

script. “These are the words that were spoken on set by Mr Prowse. The reveal that Vader is Luke’s father, perhaps the most recognised moment in cinema history, was kept a big secret from most of the cast. “As Prowse’s lines would be over-dubbed by James Earl Jones he wasn’t privy to the secret. Instead he was given alternative dialogue which is considerably less dramatic, but that in itself makes this a unique piece of history.” Among the hundreds of autographs being auctioned off is a signed photo from Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill that says: “For David – you’ll always be ‘Dad’ Vader to me – your loving son Mark.” Other collectibles include a replica Darth Vader helmet and a landline Darth Vader phone that Mr Prowse used on his desk. If these are not the items

you are looking for, perhaps memorabilia from David Prowse’s other iconic character might interest you. He played the Green Cross Code man in children’s road safety adverts in the 1970s and 80s, advising youngsters that, “I won’t be there when you cross the road.” Mr Stowe said: “We have David’s actual screen-used Green Cross Code man costume. He wore it in the films and then continued to wear it at various public appearances. “They only ever made two for him. The other was thought to be destroyed, so this is the sole survivor. It’s an icon of British pop culture.” The costume is expected to fetch over £5,000 at auction. The Green Cross Code robot, Droid, is also going under the hammer and may raise in excess of £10,000. Part of the proceeds of the auction will be donated to

A replica Darth Vader helmet Alzheimer’s Research UK because Mr Prowse had Alzheimer’s when he died. Mr Stowe said: “There is a real sense that this collection is ‘coming home.’ “Mr Prowse was a celebrity in Bristol. Many people remember him being a bouncer, weight lifter and general personality in his early days in the city. He is Bristol’s link to the biggest film franchise in the world.”

n NATURE

Urban gardens are a huge nature reserve HEDGEHOGS, birds and insects all need help in urban areas to stop their numbers declining. Avon Wildlife Trust wants residents to think of the gardens of homes across the Kingswood area as a huge, urban nature reserve. Georgia Moore at Avon Wildlife Trust said that if just one in four people takes action, it makes a difference to wildlife numbers. She said: “Even in urban areas we can make small changes that make a huge difference to whether wildlife survives or not. “For example, we have a lot of hedgehogs in urban gardens in this area. Putting out some fresh water and cat or dog food for them, not human food, at night will attract them to your garden. “A hedgehog can travel 5k per night, so making small hedgehog holes at the base of fences can help them easily travel between gardens and turn the whole area into one big nature reserve. “We’re also seeing a big decline in insects. If you think back to your childhood, you probably remember car windscreen wipers being used a lot to clear the windscreen of insects. “That hardly ever happens now because numbers have declined so much.” Avon Wildlife Trust manages the Willsbridge Valley woodland around Willsbridge Mill in Longwell Green and has spent much of the past year felling ash trees there. Ms Moore said: “Up to 90 per cent of ash trees in the UK will be affected by ash dieback. It’s an airborne fungus so there’s

Five ways to boost wildlife in built-up areas 1 Make a small pond in your garden – using an old washing bowl or container is sufficient. It will support insects and amphibians, which in turn support animals further up the food chain. 2 Put up a bird box on the wall of your home, garage or shed. TWO local organisations are celebrating substantial grants from the Governent’s Culture Recovery Fund to help them recover from the Covid-19 shutdown. Circomedia in Kingswood has been given £170,859 while Avon Valley Railway in Bitton has been allocated £97,400. Kingswood MP Chris Skidmore has visited both centres to find out how they will use the money to help them get back on their feet. At AVR, where trains were due to resume operation from May 1, Mr Skidmore met staff and volunteers. Roger Eynon, AVR chairman said: “We’re really pleased to be awarded the grant from the Culture Recovery Fund, in recognition of the difficult year that we’ve had. We’re able to use the money to help us deal with the backlog of work that we had to put on hold by coronavirus and to help us grow our volunteer base in the future. “Because of the significant downturn in trade we’ve also used up a lot of our financial

It was great to be able to share this news with Chris Skidmore as he's been particularly supportive of us during the pandemic.” Circomedia, also known as the Academy of Circus Arts and Physical Theatre, training

courses and circus skills. Nicolas Young, Circomedia CEO, said: “We were delighted that our local MP was able to see Circomedia in action, with 90 young people and 20 staff on site in our first youth circus project since restrictions were eased. He therefore got to see a key part of the work that the Cultural Recovery Grant is helping to ensure continues and improves

into the future.” Mr Skidmore said he was very pleased to visit both organisations. “The Government continues to recognise the importance of supporting our local cultural and heritage organisations which are at the heart of our communities, and I am delighted that this latest grant will help Circomedia and others in Kingswood restart their activities, ensuring our local heritage sector and economy can rebuild and thrive as restrictions are lifted,” he said. “I am delighted that Avon Valley Railway will be receiving this funding as they re-open. I have visited the railway many times over the years, having been born and grown up locally, and I have always been impressed by the excellent service that they provide for our community.""

BMX track refurb THE BMX Pump track in Longwell Green will be fully refurbished later this month. The height of the jumps has worn down over the years so will be topped up back to their original height. The track will also be covered with smooth tarmac to make it usable by scooters, balance bikes and skateboards, as well as bikes. Oldland Parish Council is funding the £11,249 refurbishment, which will be undertaken by Architrail Velosolutions UK. Work will also include new signage and litter bins. Cllr Steve Skidmore said: “We’d started consulting about the work before the pandemic, but of course everything ground to a halt last year. “We did a lot of consultation of what local young people wanted, working with Creative Youth Network, which is why we’re making it accessible for a range of wheels, rather than just BMX bikes. “For now it will just reopen once the work is finished, but we’d like to do a grand opening later in the year when restrictions allow. “Everyone’s been through a difficult time this past year and it’s nice to do something that will be of benefit to so many young people.”

Carbon neutral pledge OLDLAND parish council has pledged to make the parish area carbon neutral by 2030. The council has decided to lead by example by reviewing and modifying its purchasing arrangements and lobbying for action on climate change. It has set up a Climate Action Group to make sure all parish council decision making takes carbon issues into consideration, including adding green technologies in all planning applications and supporting sustainable transport.

FREE training courses in woodwork are on offer to help residents find work. The courses are being run by Didac Ltd from its specialist woodworking academy in Crews Hole. They are on offer to any unemployed person over 19 in South Gloucestershire. Three separate courses will cover wood machining, furniture making, and kitchen installation and will be funded by the West of England Combined Authority (WECA.) Didac has been praised by the volunteer group Friends of Troopers Hill for its work in the community. Chair Susan Acton-Campbell said: “The firm has been really helpful in the past to our volunteers group and are really community-minded. “We worked with them to raise the funds for a publicly-accessible defibrillator by the River Avon Trail at Crews Hole. “They were really helpful in November when we had a spate of vandalism in Troopers Hill Woods, restoring a waymarker for us.” Anyone interested in the woodwork training should contact Elaine Stanley on 0800 773 4230 or email Elaine.stanley@didac.co.uk

Licence victory A FOOTBALL club has won the right to sell alcohol at its pavilion in Soundwell, despite fears it would become a “speakeasy”. Councillors approved the application for Bristol Rovers Supporters Junior Football Club in Church Road, restricting it to training sessions and matches. A similar bid was rejected last year, despite receiving no objections from the police or regulatory services. Ward councillor Ian Boulton told South Gloucestershire Council's licensing subcommittee that residents and St Stephen's church had raised concerns, including over parking. He told the remote hearing: “The key concerns of neighbours, including the church, are that it seems peculiar to have effectively a changing room and small pavilion area to be licensed for alcohol and an off-licence. “They are concerned it will become a speakeasy, a drinking

den, in such a residential area and what sort of message this sends about alcohol by a junior football club.” Bristol Rovers Supporters vice-chairman Nick Hammond said the club had more than 300 junior members. It had expanded from its main site at Southey playing fields in Kingswood, which has had an alcohol licence for many years, and members wanted the same in Soundwell. Mr Hammond said on-site drinking would be limited to the clubhouse and a hard standing area around the building, and that no glass would be used. The club maintains the fields by agreement with the council, which axed its playing fields and pavilions budget under austerity measures in 2017. Granting the application, panel chairman Keith Burchell said alcohol sales would be restricted to training sessions and matches.

Chip shop named in nation's top 50 A HANHAM chip shop forced to shut by a fire then lockdown has bounced back to be named one of the best in the UK. Georges Fish and Chips is the only chippy in the Bristol area to make the list of the nation’s top 50 best takeaways in Fry, a trade magazine. The chip shops were judged by mystery diners on more than 40 aspects of their business, including the flakiness of the fish, the crispness of the chips and the crunch of the batter, as well as value for money. The judge at Georges praised the friendly and efficient service, freshly cooked food, and the measures taken to ensure Covid safety. Comments included: “The batter is possibly the best I have ever had” and “I felt welcome and I left with a smile”. George Stavrou, who runs the takeaway with his wife Georgina, said it was a boost after the shop had had to shut following the fire in December 2019, believed to have been caused by an electrical fault. It reopened once lockdown restrictions lifted last summer. “This award means so much to us after the past couple of years,” he said. “None of this would have happened without our brilliant staff who are constantly

working so hard and our loyal customers, who have supported us through these times.” Reece Head, competition organiser, said: “Without doubt, the last 12 months have been tough for fish and chip takeaways and many will not have dealt with this level of crisis management before. “This year’s judging criteria took into

It's a scarecrow hunt - with a difference HANHAM’S annual big scarecrow hunt will take on a new format this year to allow for social distancing. The event, run every year by the Friends of Christchurch School, usually sees around 60 decorated scarecrows displayed on and around Hanham High Street. Crowds of people turn out over two days and pack the high street to see the scarecrows. To avoid overcrowding and to make it easy to take part, this year’s trail will see some changes. It will run for the whole of May half term, from May 29 to June 6. Instead of physical scarecrows, businesses taking part will display an A3 poster in their window. Each poster will carry one written clue and two picture clues to help participants guess the name of a UK historical hero. The hunters who solve the most clues will be awarded first,

n KINGSWOOD HERITAGE MUSEUM

Fantasie Foundations ONE of this year’s four new displays at Kingswood Heritage Museum is devoted to Fantasie Foundations, a brand developed by Langridge (Kingswood) Ltd. of Two Mile Hill Road, Kingswood. Langridge’s previously used the “Unity” brand for its products, and was a major employer in the area. A large proportion of its workforce - compared to more traditional businesses – consisted of young women. During the Second World War around two thirds of the company’s production was devoted to the war effort, particularly the production of uniforms and parachutes. The company’s contribution was recognised by a visit by Queen Mary in 1941, as shown in the photograph.

We're looking for more volunteers The museum always welcomes new volunteers, and would especially like to hear from anyone willing to help with publicity and marketing, catering, administration and clerical support. If you are interested in helping the museum in any capacity please contact us at kingswoodmuseum@ gmail.com, or call us on 0117 960 5664. Kingswood Heritage Museum is open every year from April to November. It is located in the former Champion Brass Works, at Tower Lane, Warmley, BS30 8XT, just off Avon Ring Road (Cadbury Heath exit).
