HELP KATHRYN MAHONEY! Kathryn Mahoney is a Michigan State gymnast. At the end of December 2010, she fractured her C6 vertebra while vaulting in practice. Donations are being accepted for Kathryn's care through The Kathryn Mahoney Fund. Keyz Karanza happens to be a 'styrofoam artist' who loves gymnastics and has decided to put himself to work in the efforts of fundraising for this cause. He is offering collegiate "StryoArt" for $25 (plus shipping) per piece, all of which will go directly to The Kathryn Mahoney Fund. Each piece is 24" rectangular carved styrofoam (which very much resembles a wood carving, though MUCH lighter), painted and ready for wall hanging. This StyroArt can be made with any college logo with any sports silhouette. Below are samples for Michigan State gymnastics and women's basketball and North Carolina gymnastics. As these pieces are done completely by hand, they are rather time consuming, so you may have to wait several weeks to get yours depending on current demand.
