This project is a governmental housing complex of 248 Villas located in Al Awir, Dubai. I was tasked with creating the renders and presentation of the villas and the overall layout in the site using Lumion and Photoshop. I also made the adjustments required by the client in the 3D models on Revit and participated in the 2D drafting of plans, section, elevations, and details on AutoCAD.

This project was for a competition for designing, planning, and supervising of a 250 villa complex in Khor Fakkan, Sharjah. I was heaviliy involved in the project from the beginning till the competiton submittion. I participated in the reseach stage where I was tasked with creating most of the diagrams explaning the masterplanning process. I was also tasked with designing the facade of the contemporary villa types. I created all the renders for all villa types and the masterplan.

BARCHAN CITY, MARS
Bachelor Graduation Project
Won Professor Award at AUD Senior Showcase Spring 2019 One of the most prominent features of Mars are its Barchan Dunes. They are oriented South as is the predominant wind direction; this makes them the most stable type of dune. The project is influenced by nature on Earth and on Mars. The buildings mimic the plants’ behavior in extreme conditions on Earth and mimic the dunes on Mars being one of the few notable natural features. The project aims to create a dune shaped complex of buildings that follow the wind direction and create new topography for the site, blending in and becoming one with Mars’ nature. The project is composed of a city on the verge of expansion. The main focus of the city is planting; it provides various cultivation facilities, residential areas, work spaces, and the services required to maintain them. The facade contains algae cultivation chambers that work to fuel the city with oxygen and energy. This is the next step working towards a fully functional, independent, and plant-centric community. Extensive research was done prior to the project and submitted in the form of a thesis book.

02 SOUQ HEADQUARTERS Studio VIII Project
Published at Students Projects in the Middle East Website
The UAE’s largest online shopping business Souq.com has recently been bought by Amazon and are looking to expand. Where else to establish their headquarters other than where the essence of trade all began; Bur Dubai. The project captures the essence of the traditional Dhows used in transport and was an important element of Bur Dubai’s culture. The soul of the project can be experienced when travelling down the set of stairs and reaching the space where you can look above and three large constructs protrude the viewers boldly. This project was done in a group of three in 4th year of my Bachelor degree. The project consisted of three phases. All the work was equally divided and we had to submit drawings done individually at later stages of the project.

Phase I was the design stage where we had to design the full project and apply Dubai Municipality regulations, Al Safat Green Building Rules, Civil Defense Fire Safety Regulations, and Dubai Universal Design Accessibility code.
Phase II of the project consisted of construction drawings, details, and providing specifications for the project. Phase III was an introduction to MEP were we provided drawings of HVAC layout, power layout, lighting layout, drainage, water supply, and fire prevention water supply.
