Translation of the first interview with sheikh Mukhtar Abu Al-Zubair Amir of Harakat Al-Shabaab Al-Mujahidin with Al-Andalus Radio

Al-Andalus Radio reporter: ‍ ا ا ا‏ Our land Somalia was a theater for jihad in the past years in order implementation of the Sharia in this country and spread justice in the society, also it was defending the Ummah from the aggression that targets plundering the riches which Allah have favored this land, we crossed different stages and various experiences, after that years Allah enabled the mujahidin to implement the Sharia in most of the country, which made the Islamic Wilayahs an address for security, peace and stability due to the full implementation of the Sharia, and now... how can we evaluate the stages that the country passed through, and what is the purpose of establishing Harakat Al-Shabaab Al-Mujahidin? What is the goal that the mujahidin want to achieve? What is the message of the leadership of jihad to the people? We will touch all these issues in this exclusive interview with Amir of Harakat Al-Shabaab Al-Mujahidin sheikh Mukhtar Abu Al-Zubair may Allah preserve him. Al-Andalus Radio reporter: Our honorable sheikh in the beginning AsSalÄ mu ĘżAlaykum wa Rahmatu l-lÄ hi wa BarakÄ tuh, first I wish if you talk to us a little bit about the most important previous generations of jihad in Somalia and the founders of jihad in the Horn of Africa? In the beginning we praise Allah Almighty that He facilitated for us this interview, and then I thank in the Al-Andalus Radio who in reality resemble the top in the Jihadi Islamic radios that is engaged in a struggle with the crusaders who invaded the land of Islam and they are fighting with their sword and tongue, if we return to the answer of the posed question in general the history of jihad are continuous events, and that is a proof to the saying of the prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ‘And not a single group from my Ummah, standing for protection of the religion of Allah, will disappear, and those who disagree with them will not interfere till the Doomsday’, narrated by Muslim, and the region of the Horn of Africa that we live in was always one of the fields of the crusades in the Islamic World. The crusades in the Islamic World have concentrated on two areas, the first area is Bilad Al-Sham and the second area is the Horn of Africa and especially the Land of the Two migrations, this is what confirms to us that it is a fundamental part of the Islamic World, and from this region Jihadi leaderships came out from it who inherited the banner from their forefathers, and the most well known from them are Imam Ahmed Gurey, Sayyid Mohammed Abdullah Hassan, Sheikh Bashir, Sheikh Hassan Barsani, and in fact the most prominent Jihadi experience that the region passed through and had an impact on it were two experiences: The first experience were the experience of Imam Ahmed Gurey rahimahullah, because his jihad was characterized in several matters, the first feature is the implementation of the Sharia of Allah and spreading justice and establishing Islamic Emirates, and the other feature was uniting the Moslem peoples in the Horn of Africa under the banner of the Sharia, and you know that in the days of Imam Ahmed Gurey the Muslims were able to control most of the Ethiopian regions expect in some of the mountainous regions where the remnants of the Christians fortified in it, and from the features also in that jihad the contact of the region with the rest of the Muslim World where they found support and aid from the Muslims and they were an integral part of the jihad which the region witnessed, and from those who participated in the jihad with the Imam were some Turks, Yemenis, Amhara and others, and it is known to our time that in the city of Harar many of the Muslims live in it from different nationalities and they are


known as ‘Hararians’, and those are from the remnants of the State of Islam that was built by Imam Ahmed Gurey, and the other signs is the conversion to Islam of many people in his time from the pagans and Christians and he Allah made him a reason for their Islam, and also from the features of that Jihad is it standing in the face of the Portuguese colonization in the 16th century that was leading crusades, and on the other hand was Imam Ahmed Gurey leading Muslims especially in East Africa. The second experience that the region passed through was the experience of Sayyid Mohammed Abdullah Hassan, which is also an interesting experience, which became an reason in the failure of the conspiracies that aimed to divide the Islamic World and especially the Berlin Conference, he prevented the British from resting or settling in this region, I mean the Horn of Africa and especially Somalia, and you know that the British in that time were an great empire that the sun never sets on, and the Imam didn’t fight only the English, but he also fought the apostates and the tribes that stood with the crusaders, he also fought the Italians and Ethiopians, and we understand all that from his poetry, and the jihad of Sayyid Mohammed Abdullah Hassan was characterized by jihad against the apostates and he was the one who revived the Sunnah of killing the apostates, and this feature is in his poetry like: (a poem from the poetry of Sayyid Mohammed Abdullah Hassan in Somali language) Also we can briefly talk about Sheikh Bashir who is considered a finisher of the Dervish movement, and he and his father were raised in the centers of the Dervish, and if we describe the methodology Sheikh Bashir his methodology was a clear characterized with the characteristics of AhluSunnah wa Al-Jammah and the correct Aqeeda, and we can derive that from his few poems like: (a poem for Sheikh Bashir in Somali language) Also Sheikh Hassan Barsane who resisted the Italians and revived jihad in this Moslem Ummah to defend their people and land from the invading crusaders, and this jihad that we witness now is similar to the jihad of Imam


Ahmed Gurey in several matters, like the conditions and modern reality, and many of the brothers read history books like brother Omar Dirri rahimahullah and Macalin Aden and others they sued to read the book of ‘Conquering Abyssinia’ that narrated the history of Imam Ahmed Gurey. A.R: Ok‌ My honorable sheikh how do you evaluate the stage of American invasion to this land in the beginning of the nineties, can you talk to us about the men who participated in these battles like sheikh Abdullah Ahmed Sahil, and sheikh Omar Dirri? S.A.Z: That period was very hard, two things united in it, the first the colonial alliance which invaded the land under the leadership of America, and the other matter is weakening the mujahidin and disperse them in a time when they were most needed, the stage of the UNOSOM and that American colonialism had two lessons that always repeat in the journey of jihad, the first lesson is that a small group that is a steadfast on the straight path putting its trust on Allah then Allah will give it victory, Allah Almighty says: (How many a little company hath overcome a mighty host by Allah's leave! Allah is with the steadfast) 249 Surah Al-Baqara, this small group have written a strange history which became a role model for all the Ummah, the second lesson that we take from that period is the severity of the permissive and jaded leadership and the traitors who cooperate with the enemy against the jihad and Mujahidin, because they dispersed the mujahidin in a time when they were most needed, and Allah Almighty has told us in his glorious about the severity of those people, the Almighty says: (Had they gone forth with you, they would not have added to you aught save corruption, and they would certainly have hurried about among you seeking (to sow) dissension among you, and among you there are those who hearken for their sake; and Allah knows the unjust) 47 Surah At-Taubah, and in this small opportunity we cannot speak in detail about the biography and history of these two mujahid sheikhs, but if we took for example sheikh Abdullah Ahmed Sahil confronted the enemy when he was an elderly man, and resisted the enemy until he paralyzed his movements, and Allah have honored him by making the defeat of the enemies on his hands, and brother Omar Dirri who is known by Abu Jabal who was the right-hand man of sheikh Abdullah Ahmed Sahil, and the defeat of the Americans in Somalia became a good


example in all the world, and Allah Almighty made these two sheikhs with several other men a reason for all that. A.R: In that world that took place with the Americans what was the role of the Muhajirin brothers? S.A.Z: In fact their role was influential in many aspects, like training, support, participation and other, in that period many important people came to Mogadishu like sheikh Yusuf Al-'Uyayri, Saif Al-Adel, Abu Al-Hassan Al-Sa'idi, all of them were an aid to the two sheikhs, and that was the starting point for the battles that Qaedat Al-Jihad waged against the Americans, and sheikh Osama have mentioned it in some of his speeches, when he said that the fighting that the Americans waged in Somalia showed the weakness and attenuation of the American soldier. A.R: Of course that was a reason that made the American blood the cheapest blood, if we return to the situation that the country is passing through, the mujahidin rule vast territories that the Islamic Sharia is fully implemented in it, and constantly holds the Sharia courses for the community, and the question here how was Harakat Al-Shabaab Al-Mujahidin which runs all that spot established, what is its methodology, and what is its goal, and the purpose that you want to achieve? S.A.Z: If we talk in detail about the situation that Harakat Al-Shabaab AlMujahidin was established in and the reasons that were behind that, in fact‌ in the period in which the movement was established there were several reasons, first the Jihadi action was destroyed and demolished, and also the Dawah in general was weak, despite that the Dawah was the excuse was to stop the jihad, and fact of the matter is that jihad is part of the Dawah, also from the reasons is that the country entered in to internal conflicts and wars between the clans and the bandits spread and the absence of security, also there was a prevalence of missionary organizations in the parts of the country that they became a hidden state, and from the reasons that we cannot forget is that the youth in general who are the capital and power of the Sahwa were afflicted with defeatism, and the people were divided to two sections, a section went to Europe and America and a section got busy with


the Dunya and making money and left all the aspects of the Dawah, and top on that when the events of 9/11 happened and Afghanistan came under occupation and the world split to two sections, the section of the Muslims under the leadership of the mujahidin, and a section with the enemy, the movement was established to be a shelter and center for the sincere mujahidin in this Ummah, and if we talked in detail about the beginning of establishing Harakat Al-Shabaab and the things that were focused on and all the efforts were spent in it we find in the first is how to spread the true methodology, especially the Aqeeda of Wala wa Bara, Hakimiya, ruling with what Allah have revealed, incitement, Ribat, instigating the Ummah for preparation, and holding the Sharia courses and lectures, and distributing books that support the correct methodology, the second matter which the effort were spent in it is training and preparation, because when the Ummah is revived ideologically it has to be rehabilitated and trained militarily, and the third matter which was focused on is who to bring the sincere Ulema and Daa'iyahs to the rank of jihad, but unfortunately in that period many of the Ulema and Daa'iyahs didn’t respond to the movement and the reason in that is that they were seeing all the matters just dreams and visions that cannot be achieved, but with the favor of Allah, Allah have blessed that plant and brought its fruit to eyewitness, Allah Almighty: (Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves; you will see them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking grace from Allah and pleasure; their marks are in their faces because of the effect of prostration; that is their description in the Taurat and their description in the Injeel; like as seedproduce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the unbelievers on account of them; Allah has promised those among them who believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward) 29 Surah Al-Fath, when the matters were in this condition the people began to gather from the regions as groups and individuals to get trained, and the banner and call of jihad reached everywhere, and strength of the brothers in Mogadishu began to increase and develop, and from the matters that I can mention in that period is the detachment that was sent to Ethiopia in the beginning of 2005 which was in reality Jaish Al-Osra, because it was in hard time, a period of


drought, the path was long, and the enemy is many and our numbers were few, and on top of that is that the two leaders who lead the detachment both of them were martyred on the way before reaching the intended target, brother Mohammed Duqni and brother Omar Dirri, and that detachment was a clear sign for global jihad, since the aspirations of the brothers from the beginning is that jihad has no borders, in every place where there is an oppressed Muslim jihad in it doesn’t stop, and they have to do jihad and support the Muslims, and I remind the brothers not to forget those who are still alive from that detachment and not to forget their merit, and we ask Allah for them to be steadfast. If I return to the methodology and the goals, the methodology is that of Ahlu-Sunnah wa Al-Jammah, and adherence to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His prophet, and being straight on it based on the understanding of the Sahabah and the Tabi'in and Tābi‘ Al-Tābi‘īn, because Allah chose them to carry this message and Dawah, and the goals that the movement was established on the first of them is establishing the religion of Allah and restoring the Islamic Khilafah and that is the major goal, and the second goal is repelling and resisting the global crusade aggression in general, and in particular fighting the Christians of Abyssinia, also from the goals is establishing a straight Muslim society based on the worship of Allah and subjected to the Sharia of Allah, also from the goals is confronting the Tawagit and secular government, also resorting the abandoned religious obligations like preparation, jihad, fighting, Wala wa Bara, uniting the Moslem Ummah under the banner of the honorable Sharia, releasing the imprisoned Muslims in jails, preserving the money and riches of the Muslims from being plundered by the enemies and working to achieve selfsufficiency, Alhamdulillah some of these goals were achieved and we ask Allah to achieve what remained of them, the first generation who began this work a part of them have been chosen by Allah and a part of them are still alive, and we ask Allah to make us from those He mentioned in His saying: (Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah: so of them is he who accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least) 23 Surah Al-Ahzab.


A.R: My honorable sheikh‌ if you allow me, many people think that Harakat Al-Shabaab didn’t have a role in the Islamic Courts that were established in Mogadishu in 2006, how do you answer this question? S.A.Z: As usual history is always twisted from the truth and the fruit of jihad is stolen, most of the mujahidin are busy with sacrifice, jihad and support of religion, and in many cases people would come who didn’t participate nor sacrifices, they were in their homes and offices, writing championships and history, and interpret and explaining it as they want, and I advice the mujahidin to write the history of jihad and mujahidin by themselves and to preserve the purity of banner and methodology, and that they be alerted from the traitors who lurk for the fruit of jihad, and I specify the brothers who work in the media to do that job. If I return to answer the question, the history of the Courts was from the issues that were distorted very badly and its fruits were stolen, and that was done a small opportunist group which kidnapped it, and history have revealed their treachery and apostasy, the bases of the Courts if we wanted to speak in detail, when the Courts appeared the city of Mogadishu was in a very difficult state in the security and living aspects, and in that period abduction operations spread between the Somalis and then they be ransomed with money, that matter planted fear, horror and concern between the Muslim community in Mogadishu, so when the matter was in that status the brothers were continuing preparation and equipping, and the two brothers Omar Dirri and Macalin Aden held meetings with some elders of Mogadishu and proposed to them the idea of establishing the Court, and the mujahidin brothers would administer and protect it, and after they discussed the matter and took in consideration the previous Courts experience and they put precautions to all the expected probabilities, then and at the beginning of the matter occurred the incident of abducting one of the traders in Mogadishu by some men and jailed him, the brothers moved and particularly brother Macalin Aden and brother Mohammed Duqni and took with them several brothers to release that Muslim, and that operation was a blessed operation and the man was released, and some of the kidnapers were killed and other were dispersed, and brother Abdul-Aziz martyr of the Hesbah was martyred in the operation, that operation changed all the conditions in Mogadishu, and


ended the kidnapping operations, and everyone who had a kidnapped man released him, and the people plucked to establish more courts, and most of the courts were administered by the brothers, such as martyr sheikh Ibrahim Hashi and brother Shabaan, and brother Abu Qutaiba, and brother Muʿyiddīn, all were from the founders of the courts, after that as it is known any project that succeeds and has some popularity between the people the people imitate it, so some of the people with special interests did attempts to open several courts, and here the matter started, and the battles that erupted then like the battle of ‘Jaljalto’ which I witnessed, and the Courts Union then refused to participate in the battle under the pretext of lack of enough force and all that they can is protecting and guarding their headquarters, so the brothers kept their trust in Allah and entered the battle and brother Abdullah Salad lead the battle, and the efforts that he spent big role in this battle, and when the signs of victory of the battle loomed, once again the hypocrites who were in the ranks of the Courts began to ride the wave and entered the battle in its end, as we were told by Allah Almighty about the hypocrites in every place and time, Allah Almighty says: (Those who wait for (some misfortune to befall) you then If you have a victory from Allah they say: Were we not with you? And if there IS a chance for the unbelievers, they say: Did we not acquire the mastery over you and defend you from the believers? So Allah shall Judge between you on the day of resurrection, and Allah will by no means give the unbelievers a way against the believers) 141 Surah An-Nisa, in general the beginning of the Courts was in this manner, after that the war lords were defeated and were driven out from Mogadishu and their positions were taken, and the departments of the Courts Union were established, and it was an administration disordered, haphazard and weak that contained all those persons, and in the same period appeared the different goals between the personnel who were in the administration of the Courts Union, and from the most important issues that occurred were the dispute on the issue of negotiations and power sharing with the apostate government in the time of Abdullah Yusuf, and the conflict regarding this issue was very clear, many people believed in participation in the government with some ministers, and didn’t look to the principles and goals, the second issue, was the issue of implementing the Sharia of Allah completely had many postponements and divergence, and that shows that


there were many ascenders and opportunistic who benefit from the loopholes, after that the examination happened which Allah promised, Allah Almighty says: (On no account will Allah leave the believers in the condition which you are in until He separates the evil from the good) 179 Surah Aal-e-Imran, and the Almighty says: (and We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust -140- And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings -141-) Surah Aal-e-Imran, we ask Allah Almighty to make us steadfast on this path and grant us martyrdom. A.R: My honorable sheikh‌ Islam and Kufr are in constant struggle, and you as mujahidin in your opinion what is the difference between this stage and the previous stages from conspiracies and tests that you faced on the path of jihad? S.A.Z: The mujahidin passed through different stages and faced various conspiracies, that conspiracies were characterized sometimes with temptation and sometimes with intimidation, and other times with cunning and deceit, these conspiracies were harsh and were continuous not stopping, and before we touch the most important stages that we passed through we take a study prepared by an American center in 2008, which is the RAND Corporation, this study show that the Western schemes that Western countries use to fight the Jihadi movements in particular and the Islamists in general, and we can understand from it the different methods that they use in encircling and twisting the mujahidin, that study carries a wide vision, since it touched to the history of the armed groups from 1986 to 2006 either they were communists or Islamists or crusaders and other, and they are groups that appeared in different continents like Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia, the number of these groups reached 648 armed group and movement that appeared in 38 years, their goals were different and their sizes were different, finally the study came out with a summary that says all these groups ended, and the study notes that these groups ended through four stages, 10% achieved the goals that they were established for, 7% were defeated and crushed militarily and were annihilated, those two sections were the least, 40% were for the groups that were defeated in security by


infiltrating it and spreading rumors and agents inside it until they were able to destroy and twisted from its path and this percentage is high, regarding the last percentage which is 43%, those were politically contained by conjoining them to the part or state that they were confronting, either by negotiations or political dialogues so that they be completely encircled under the regime that they were against, and throw to them some posts as what happened to some cases that we saw, and the outcome of the study and the advices that were addressed to the Americans were summarized in several points, first they said we have to focus on the security and intelligence war, and tapping and penetration, and elimination of leaderships and bombardments and the like, especially when we fight the Jihadi groups, and they said that we shouldn’t be busy with the military power, and they took lesson from the war in Iraq, the second advice was related to the war of ideas, which is they direct the moderates against the mujahidin, by spreading doubts and using evil scholars, and that method is important to them, thirdly they said we don’t need a lot of military power, but we have to be in the confrontation as Americans and Europeans, and that we use the method of proxy war by using other parties like neighboring countries and the regional countries and countries that belong to the Islamic World, and Sahwas and inciting the tribes, and we be behind taking care of training, support and leadership, and indeed that is what we see and it is implemented on us on the ground, and this is not the only study but rather there are many studies that were prepared by centers such as ICG or International Crisis Group, which one of the ideological centers that the West depends on, they published two famous studies, in one they advice that the rule in Egypt be handed over to the Moslem brotherhood or that they be involved in it because they are a moderate stream which they could coexistence with and be understood, and in the second study they talked especially about Palestine, and in particular about dealing with Hamas, and called to open a dialogue with Hamas and there be a mutual understanding with them, and they said that the lands occupied by Israel in 1967 they have to be driven out from it, and that Hamas establishes a state in it, for them to be in a confrontation against the mujahidin in Palestine, and above all that the speech or talk that was delivered by Obama to the Islamic World, let us take from his words two summarized paragraphs, he said in the Arabic translation, ‘And today I


declare about new global efforts with the Organization of Islamic Conference to eliminate poliomyelitis and we will seek widening corporation with the Muslim communities to promote the health of the children and mothers’, and he added ‘we should achieve all these matters through corporation, the Americans are ready to work with the citizens and governments and with the civil organizations and religious leaders and commercial and professional companies in the Muslim communities around the world’, that means that the Americans are going to use the Islamic societies, religious parties and traders to achieve their goals towards the Islamic World, if we return to most dangerous conspiracies that confronted the jihad in the near term, so we can say that the biggest was the conspiracy of ‘Asmara’, in that meeting the so called Alliance for the liberation of Somalia, which is an alliance that is a mixture between the secularists and apostates from the parliament, in that period the crusade state supervised it, but with the favor of Allah and as usual the falsehood in the beginning finds fame and reputation and then collapses and falls quickly, after that as you know splits and disagreements occurred between Asmara and Djibouti until it reached to the current conflict between the two Sharifs, from here we find that people if they divert from the path unimaginable matters can appear from them, because who were calling for jihad yesterday against the invading occupiers of the land of Islam you see them standing beside the occupier against the Muslims, and those who were calling for the implementation of the Book of Allah you see them today calling for the implementation of manmade laws and fighting of the Sharia of Allah, and those who were calling to fight the war lords you see them today standing with the war lords, and those who were calling to support and aiding the oppressed you see them today annihilating the oppressed Muslims, Allah Almighty says: (And thus do We make clear the communications, and that haply they might return -174- And recite to them the narrative of him to whom We give Our communications, but he withdraws himself from them, so the Shaitan overtakes him, so he is of those who go astray -175- And if We had pleased, We would certainly have exalted him thereby; but he clung to the earth and followed his low desire, so his parable is as the parable of the dog; if you attack him he lolls out his tongue; and if you leave him alone he lolls out his tongue; this is the parable of the people who reject Our


communications; therefore relate the narrative that they may reflect -176-) Surah Al-Araf, Sayyid Qutb rahimahullah said: ‘the slight deviation in the beginning of the path ends up with a full deviation in the end of the path and the person who has a Dawah accepts to surrender part of it even a little cannot stand on where he surrendered in the first time because his preparation to surrender increases each time he goes one step back’, and the second conspiracy is the one that Sharif the apostate was chosen and the rule was handed over to him, and the council of reconciliation was established which is in reality a council of hypocrisy to give a legitimacy to them, and the conspiracies that followed that mostly were military campaigns on the Islamic Wilayahs, to eradicate it. A.R: My honorable sheikh… let us stop for a while on the issue of evil scholars in particular, what was their role in the crusade on the jihad and mujahidin? S.A.Z: In fact the evil scholars tricked the Moslem Ummah, and that is not a weird thing but rather it is present from before, in modern history as we know that the evil scholars who gave Fatwa to entering the permanent truce with the Jews, and they are who gave Fatwa for the entering of the crusade forces to the land of the Haramain, and they were the ones who gave Fatwa for the legitimacy of usury, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak said: ‘Didn’t the religion be corrupted only by kings and evil rabbis and monks’, and the Salaf may Allah be pleased with them they used to say that the one who diverts from our scholars is likened to the Jews’ because the Jews know the truth and neglected it, the evil scholars have knowledge and neglected it, and the crusaders in the modern times depend on the strategy of fighting religion with religion, they call the moderates and push them towards – the extremists -, and the devil always when he wants the man to make an error he comes to him from one of two sides, the desires, money, posts and all what you the soul likes, and secondly doubts of beliefs and principles which confusion enters it and spreads suspicions about it, that conspiracy was a hard conspiracy which they spent effort in it, the start point was from questioning in the legitimacy of the jihad and fighting and spreading doubts about that, that matter happened before the Ethiopians went out from the country, and there is also giving legitimacy for the apostate government of

A.R: My honorable sheikh… It’s known that you were very close to the martyr Insha’Allah Macalin Aden Hashi, when he was martyred how did you receive the news and how was your feeling then? S.A.Z: Really… Brother Macalin Aden was a precious and dear to me, I remember him whenever a hard stance passes on me, him and Abdullah Salad and Ali Dirri, he was the best supporter to every Moslem, in that night and in late at night and close to midnight we talked together on the phone, and he promised me in that night and said: ‘I have for you many news, let us talk in the morning’ but Allah predestined that it be the last conversation between us, and when the bombardment was on the house of the sheikh the news reached me shortly before the morning Salat, and I was informed that the house of Macalin Aden is being shelled from the air, when I heard the news many things circulated in my head and I wished that the sheikh be absent from his house and that he survives from the bombardment, I’m remained thinking until I discovered that the brother had martyred and with him who were accompanying him, and the house was totally destroyed, and


his death was very affective on me, that stage was very critical, since the work was in re-establishing, and the war was unstable. A.R: You as Sheikh Mukhtar what do you remember about Macalin in war, handling and acumen? S.A.Z: What I know about the brother is that he spent all his life in jihad, and he is a man of seriousness and sacrifice, and he was skillful in public relations and attracting people, and he knows the varieties of people and distinguish them and he had insight, he participated in many Jihadi arenas, and he is from the founders of this work, and from the worthy to mention matters is that many of the pillars of the work he was its founder, like the media, since he was the founder of the first Jihadi media group which affected and spread everywhere, the brother was a reason behind that, and he had a media sensation, and from the matters that he founded was launching the first detachment to gather the war spoils, and his slogan was ‘My sustenance is under my spear’, from that detachments he took war spoils from many neighboring crusade states, and this work was first established on the war spoils, also in the forefront is the first center for the movement which is Salahuddin Center, he was the one who founded it, also he was the one who sends the brothers to Afghanistan to receive training and frequently he used to do equipping and completions, and the brother is a honor to all the Ummah especially the tribe which he belongs to, and I advice the youth of his tribe to take the path of the Macalin Aden and make him a model for them, and that they avenge for his blood from crusaders, Americans and hypocrites who participated in killing him, and we ask Allah to raise his degree, and make him be with the prophets, sincere, martyrs and righteous.
