My team and I created this conceptual lookbook for our Fashion Marketing class, "Digital Presentation Technique," with Professor Oscar Betancur. We wanted to represent the dangers that love can entice us into in a visually intriguing way. In an era where it is common that "love" starts with swiping on an app it seems relevant to beg the questions: what is love and is it real? The first couple starts their relationship on attraction and never grow further giving way to lust. They start with admiration and give in to envious resentment. The second couple shares a mutual affinity for glamour and jewels and they fall into overindulgence. They sparked from a similar desire for success and in the end they become enveloped in greed. His initial smooth confidence becomes his only focus; he uses her now only to make himself look good. The last couple started with fiery passion that led to violence and their comfortable compatibility became paralyzing complacency.
