About Me Hi! I formerly study as electrical engineering, developer and graphic designer. But I recently focus on learning and working for user interface and user experience. My first job as UI/UX designer at start-up company, is about create digital products as websites and mobile applications. I would join in the product life cycle from the brainstorming idea, defining challenges, to designing solutions and testing usability.

My job also made me collaborate with others so much. I enjoyed working in team to empathize and understand users. You can find examples of my recent projects in the portfolio section of my website. Besides, that I love reading books, and walking outside.

My UX process followed by the ‘Design Thinking’ framework. It helps designers create solutions that address a real user problem and are functional and affordable. There are five phases in the design thinking process: Empathize with user, Define the problem, Idea the solutions, Prototype, and Test with user.

Tina is an app for people who want to find long-term comfort & security accommodations. Despite the large number of rental possibilites, it is still difficult to find a place to live that suits personal needs and personal budget. Especially for those who have just set foot in a new city, this can take a lot of time, effort, and money. The app designed to provide precision, complete, and personalize accommodation informations.

Before and after usability I used Figma to create prototype and send a link to my friends. After conducting usability testing. I’ve found some issues when user experencing with the product.

First, the old version puts too much on the homescreen, and its confused users. Also, the current location on the top make user thinks the gray section is a map!

Before and after usability The room details screen had some changes. In the new version, I’d added a new button for map location, it lead user to another screen to view the accommodation’s location on the map.

I also replaced the ‘Far away distance’ to ‘The number people allow’, it help user estimated the area of the room.

Takeaways & Next steps My app has already help user to find the best fit accommodations based on their need in a fast and enjoyable way. I’ve learned a lot by working on this project so far, about the conduct user interview, testing usability via Figma prototype and user research.

Below is the future plans I would like to implement that improve user experience in app.

Like Uber in traffic, Tailorwings is a platform that connects tailors with customers to create "tailored" clothes. This startup currently delivers products within 3-5 days with many fabric samples and designs selected by customers. Established in Ho Chi Minh City in mid-2019, Tailorwings believes that the dominant textile and garment industry and a large number of tailors in Vietnam will be a good opportunity to develop the mid-range segment. Different from foreign fashion brands that sew on-demand but still use a centralized factory, Tailorwings allows individual tailors everywhere the opportunity to join the network and build their styles. only me.
