Done! Channel One Russia Largest News Broadcasting Complex in Eastern Europe More than 100 engineers were developing the project to have wide range of advanced equipment and software solutions from many world leading vendors carefully integrated with Ostankino TV Center facilities. The fully tapeless complex allows having all year round production of up to 3 different news shows. There are 500 workplaces available including 150 of those for journalists. Powerful media storage system were installed in order to keep large legacy program archive with more then 100 000 hours of video safe and ready on demand.
Russia Today 24/7 News production and worldwide broadcasting Started in 2005 Russia Today is the first Russian 24/7 news channel in English. The end-to-end News production, based on Dalet Plus Enterprise platform provides more than 200 journalists workstations. Everyone, who is connected, has access to the media materials within few seconds after the recording starts. Complete tapeless workflow is supported by Harmonic/Omneon Spectrum video servers, HP IT infrastructure, Cisco network equipment, few high performance production storages. Later in 2008 another branch of RT project «Rusia al-Yaum» – satellite channel in Arabic, was introduced. Facility was extended with 3 more studios, dedicated ingest, production and playout centers. Recently RT has introduced Spanish language and consolidated playout facility. At the moment RT is able to make up to 9 independent programs, all with unique scheduling.

Done! NTV Plus Broadcasting complex major upgrade to HD and 3D Project was focused on brand new facility for playout of SD, HD and 3D programs. Classical playout includes Harris automation, Harmonic/Omneon Spectrum video servers, Miranda branding, and tight integration with enterprise-wide media asset management system from Ardendo. As part of the project file-based DVCPRO HD technology was implemented. Thanks to the flexible architecture and proper technical decisions it was possible to perform scheduled playout for the first Russian 3D channel over satellite. It is important to mention that many technical challenges, like aspect ratio control, Dolby E audio processing, multiresolution graphics, were resolved in scope of the NTV Plus project.
Russia24 News production and broadcasting complex Ambitious and well-known project was fulfilled for Russian state VGTRK company. In 4 months complete tapeless workflow with from-the-scratch production studio were deployed. GV Aurora end-to-end system was used for ingest, editing, playout and archiving. There are about 100 journalists’ workstations and 6 editing stations. Important and demanding features of the system are extended support for «transfer while recording» and «playout while transfer» that allow to speed-up news production chain. Extensive use of the VizRT graphics system is in daily use at Vesti 24, including big amount of automated graphics and full screen animated shots.

PROVYS TV management of office workflow and back-office supporting software development.
Gosteleradiofond State Fund for TV and Radio programs
Large-scale advanced media storage system Installation of Data Direct Networks S2A9900 data infrastructure platform with capacity of 300 Tb. Video content capture system based on eight Opencube Technologies MediaServerHD working together with Avocent's HMX Desktop over IP solution. Dalet Media Library for processing production, archive and workflows distribution. Dalet WebSpace – Web client for content collection and distribution, which allows to connect simultaneously up to 20 local and 10 remote clients.
