DESCRIPTION
Our facade design for the Radisson Bhairahawa features elegant and functional louvered fins that harmoniously blend aesthetics with practicality. The dynamic interplay of light and shadow created by these fins not only adds a distinct visual appeal but also serves a dual purpose of enhancing energy efficiency and climate control. The precisely angled louvered fins act as a responsive shading system, regulating the amount of sunlight entering the building, thereby reducing heat gain and optimizing interior comfort. This design concept showcases a modern interpretation of traditional elements, connecting the hotel with its cultural context while embracing contemporary sustainability principles.

The main characteristic of bus terminals is their convergence function, because they serve as important nodes of transfer between different modes. These nodes are the focus of passenger activity, which is a potential ingredient for a vibrant city space. The success of any major public transport systems depends not only on the efficiency of the transport mode itself but also to the extent to which the station /interchange nodes are integrated with their surrounding urban environment and infrastructure.
Aligning the building towards main road brings more visual connectivity.
Engaging the users through community gathering spaces.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Segerating the users through the starting point is the main feature of this design. Segeration of spaces vertically according to its function. Placement of food court and seating spaces is designed such that it has a direct visual connectivity to the arrival and departure area. Providing secondary functions such as shops, hotels and stay facilities, gathering spaces makes this bus terminal more open to public.
