Tips to Make Journaling a Habit Treat yourself to a journal and some pens that will make you excited to write. you can even number the pages to keep you motivated to fill up the entire journal.
Make it a part of a routine you already have. For example, if you are in the habit of having coffee or tea every morning or night, take 10 minutes to journal while you sip your drink. This could even mean journaling after you finish watching TV every day. Write about whatever you want. Journaling is for your benefit, so don't feel pressured to follow certain prompts or to write long, eloquent journal entries. Simply taking the time to jot down something you are grateful for or what you did each day is enough to make the habit stick.
