North Shuswap Santa Parade

Trudy Bennett will once again take the lead as the Parade Marshall and expects over 20 floats will be participating. The parade floats will begin lining up in the lower parking lot at The Hub at 5:00 pm. Parade will leave there at 5:30 pm and travel along Squilax Anglemont to past the Scotch Creek Market, make a left turn at the Scotch Creek/Lee Creek Fire Hall and loop around to park at the PharmaChoice Parking Lot for display. It’s always great to see the floats close up and recognize the efforts of each group involved.

We ask the public does not park in the PharmaChoice parking lot after 5:00 pm. Please use the parking lots at south side of Scotch Creek Market, Home Hardware, Century 21, the Fire Hall and the Hub.

Santa’s Float will be the only one in the Scotch Creek Market lot as the North Shuswap Lions will be helping Santa make a safe journey to a place built especially for him to greet the children. We do ask the children wear a mask when they visit with Santa and he will be wearing a mask as well for their safety.

While you are there visiting Santa, hot dogs and drinks will be available by donation to the North Shuswap Christmas Hamper Program. The North Shuswap Elementary School Choir will also be joining us to sing some of their favourite Christmas carols.

Please note Squilax Anglemont Road will be closed from the corner of Ashe Road to Kenwood Gate from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Friday Dec 10, 2021.

Many thanks to the collaborative efforts of Trudy Bennett & team, Ted Danyluk & the North Shuswap Lions, the Scotch Creek/Lee Creek Fire Department Volunteers, Scotch Creek Market, North Shuswap Chamber, all of the participating groups with floats and of course Santa for working together to put together a very special Santa parade for 2021.
