The key to sharing your story is wide distribution. It’s not only tapping into your own network, but the network of your friends and family too. It is important to have a compelling short story about your need. A good 30-second story can get someone’s attention and create a situation where they are interested in finding out more. Some people share this information on their social channels, personal blog, a letter, or an email. Practice responses to commonly-asked questions from people to whom you tell your story.
