BBC SUCCESS FOR TWO LOCAL BOYS! Oscar Lloyd, aged 15, and Toby Murray, aged 11, who attend The Theatre Workshop, Eastbourne are currently starring alongside some of Britain’s greatest actors in the BBC’s new period drama adaptation of the P.G. Wodehouse stories “Blandings”. Oscar and Toby will be performing alongside Timothy Spall, Jack Farthing and Jennifer Saunders in this long awaited BBC Drama. The comedy series, based on the stories of P.G. Woodhouse, is being shown on Sunday evenings and tells of a time when ladies in cloche hats and gentleman in Oxford bags have larks in capacious houses, untroubled by money and not bothered by the conventions of society, which makes the series an entertaining romp! Both Oscar and Toby attend The Theatre Workshop, based at various sites across Sussex, and each has had a variety of personal achievements. Toby has had success with a current Cheerios campaign, as well as huge success treading the boards with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the original production of “Matilda”. Oscar, who is now part of our Advanced Academy, has had success starring in the CBBC hit “The 4 O’Clock Club” and was nominated in 2010 for Young Soap Star of the Year at the Inside Soap Awards for his “Emmerdale” character, Will Wilde.
