Easy to use:
MELT: While your wax is melting, prepare your candle jars by adding a wick sticker to the bottom of your wick and placing it in the center of the bottom of your jar. Wrap the wick around a skewer that’s laid across the top of your jar to keep the wick in an upright position. POUR: If adding a scent, add now then pour the wax into your candle containers and let them set for 1-2 days before using. Trim the wicks to 1/2″ long, and you’re ready to use your candle! ENJOY: Make sure the entire top melts the first time you light the candle. For a single wick candle, the general candle rule of thumb is to burn it for 1 hour per inch width (so 3 hours for a 3″ wide candle) so that the entire top melts on that first burn. Basically, your candle will never burn further out from the center than it does on your first burn. WORKSHOP: For further help and instruction, join one of our upcoming candle pouring classes.

We carry 100% pure filtered beeswax you can use to make candles, lotions, balms and more The benefits of beeswax: Beeswax candles have been used for more than 1,000 years. This wax is the substance secreted by honeybees when they construct their honeycombs. The wax is obtained by melting the empty comb in boiling water. Beeswax candle blend is a relatively soft wax, but has a high melt point. It is the most expensive of candle waxes, and is valued for its slow burn, golden color and unique aroma. It is claimed that beeswax candles help clean the air while they burn by releasing negative ions, these ions neutralize air contaminants like dust, dirt or other pollutants, however there are no scientific studies to back this information. Regardless, we love beeswax as it is an all natural and sustainable candle wax.
