1ST ANNIVERSARY O’DONOGHUE

1ST ANNIVERSARY O’DONOGHUE

1ST ANNIVERSARY O’DONOGHUE

In loving memory of a wonderful mother

Lynsday O’Donoghue Coracow, Headford, Killarney who passed away on 4th July 2022.

I lost a mother with a heart of gold How much I miss her can never be told She shared my troubles and helped me along

If I follow her footsteps, I can never go wrong.

What she suffered she told but few She did not deserve what she went through Tired and weary she made no fuss But tried so hard to stay with me.

I prayed for a miracle but all in vain

That God would make you well again But God knew best, we had to part It eased your pain but broke my heart.

I cannot bring the old days back When we were together The family chain is broken now But memories live forever.

She was a mother so very rare Content in her home and always there On earth she toiled, in heaven she rests God bless you Mother, You were simply the best.

In tears I saw you sinking And watched you pass away. My heart was almost broke I wanted you to stay.

But when I saw you sleeping So peaceful, free from pain

How could I wish you back with me

Not to suffer that again.

It broke my heart to lose you

But you did not go alone For part of me went with you The day God took you home.

Always loved and remembered by your loving son Kenneth.

Lynsday’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday the 4th of July at 7.30pm in St. Agatha’s Church, Glenflesk.

1st Anniversary

O’DONOGHUE

In loving memory of Lynsday O’Donoghue Coracow, Headford, Killarney

Who passed away on 4th July 2022.

We thought of you today

But that is nothing new We thought about you yesterday And days before that too.

We think of you in silence

We often speak your name Now all we have are memories And your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake With which we ‘ll never part God has you in his keeping We have you in our hearts.

Sadly missed by your nephew Derek, Geraldine and Adam.

In loving memory of Lynsday O’Donoghue

Coracow, Headford, Killarney

Who passed away on 4th July 2022.

They say there is a reason

They say that time will heal

But neither time nor reason Will change the way we feel.

For no-one knows the heartache

That lies behind our smiles

No one knows how many times

We have broke down and cried.

Gone from home that smiling face

Those cheerful, happy ways

The heart that won so many friends In bygone, happy days.

We want to tell you something

So there won’t be any doubt

You’re so wonderful to think of But so hard to do without.

We cannot bring the old days back When we were all together The family chain is broken But memories live forever.

Always remembered by your sister Marie and brother-in-law Michael.
