The world's biggest adventure race coming to Killarney

and kayak, depending on the challenge and pace you wish to set yourself: 83km Expert Route, 75km Pro Route, 66km Dual Route (cycling and running only), a 55km Sport Route and a 25km Challenge Route (ideal for beginners and first-timers). The choice and varying lengths of these challenges allow for a wide range of experience and fitness levels to take part. This year sees some slight changes to the routes and their distances, with the finish moving to Killarney town centre for the best celebration yet as your friends and supporters cheer you over the line. ST OLIVER’S HOST FAITH CAMP

Over 100 children attended a Faith Camp at St Oliver’s National School last week.

Activities included music, drama, sports, games, and arts and crafts.

Fr. Jim Linehan and Deacon Mark Mori- arty led the children in prayer and mass throughout the week.

A total of 106 children and 22 volunteers attended.

“It’s a lovely thing to be involved in. It is always a fun and energetic week with such an uplifting and joyful atmos- phere for both the children and all the volunteers,” said one of the organisers Caoimhe Lynch.

“Every child leaves each day with a big smile on their face, and that’s what it’s all about.

“We set it up back in 2019 and I am outdoor seating in town centre bars open for a well-deserved toast to your great achievement. blessed to be a part of an amazing committee including our driving force Sheila Goulding, Olivia Coleman, Rhonda Healy and Rachel Kelliher who help to make the camp such a success. I’m looking forward to organising next year’s camp already.”
