INSPIRATION Keeping an inspiration board will bring your wedding plans to life.
FOLLOW US!
Making the wedding of your dreams a reality may require some creativity. It can be challenging to organize all of the creative ideas swimming around in your head, but inspiration boards may be able to help. Inspiration boards, sometimes referred to as idea boards, are commonly used by wedding planners. Sometimes seeing things together, rather than in bits and pieces on their own, can fuel even more creativity and ideas. Inspiration boards can include magazine clippings, photographs, fabric swatches, quotes or literary passages, and color swatches. As the idea board grows, you may find a common denominator among your inspirational elements. This can help determine a theme for your wedding or jump-start other planning. To start building your own board or book, collect clippings of photos or articles that resonate with you. Remember, inspiration may not always come from bridal-related resources. When you visit Confetti Rentals, bring along any fabric swatches, colors and pictures of particular looks you like. We can help make your dream wedding a reality!

Exploring Alternative Reception Sites A wedding can be an expensive endeavor for couples. The cost of a wedding venue can vary greatly. Couples looking to stay within a budget might consider a more affordable venue that can still show off their personality. Couples looking to set their party apart or forgo a more traditional setting might look for a fun, unique location for their wedding and reception. * Farmhouse: For that country appeal, a barn or farmhouse estate can make for the ideal place to hold a casual wedding reception. Additionally, a farm or ranch on a larger piece of property can easily accomodate a number of guests. * Gardens & Parks: Take advantage of the season’s peak foliage by hosting an outdoor wedding. Many public parks or gardens offer packaging for special events. * Sports fans, alumni, or college sweethearts may dream of having their wedding on the campus where they met. Why not make your big day personal to you and share with your guests the story of how you came to be? * At home: Couples who really want to save money can opt to get married right at home! Various reception venues can make for a memorable wedding. Couples can explore their options when a more traditional venue is not necessarily their style. Wherever you choose to tie the knot, let Confetti Rentals wow you and make your special day one to remember!

Planning to have your wedding during a holiday? Here are a few tips that we’ve gathered to avoid extra costs and gain extra fun. Give as much notice as possible Try to send your save-the-date as soon as you can to give guests time to book flights in a potentially busier and more expensive travel season. You’ll also want to make sure you secure guests’ time before they book their vacations and time off from work. Accept that you may lose a few guests More of your guests are likely to decline the invitation than at a non-holiday timed wedding. Fixed plans, company events, and family obligations are hard to avoid. Giving a lot of time to plan and not being too sensitive to declines should soften the blow. Offer something festive at the reception Take advantage of the spirit of the season, whether it’s spooky at Halloween or Peace on Earth around the winter holidays. Think cranberry signature cocktails for Christmas, a horror movie theme for Halloween… you get the idea. If you’re taking guests from their usual festivities, try to make sure they don’t miss out on the seasonal fun. You don’t have to go all-out with a seasonal theme, but a few touches here and there can make all the difference for holiday-lovers. Take advantage of seasonal food and foliage Any chance to use seasonal flowers or food will save you some cash. You can choose festive seasonal options that are more affordable, yet still in keeping with your design aesthetic. Allow for higher costs from vendors While a holiday wedding may offer several opportunities to save money, it can also be a busy season for venues and vendors meaning higher costs. Allow for it in your budget or consider more affordable options like morning and brunch weddings or pick a less busy day like Friday or Sunday.

ON A TIGHT BUDGET? When working with a small budget, candlelight can be one of your best friends. It can bring an entire room to light with its soft flickering glow scattered about the room. Often at a reception when the lights are dimmed, the ONLY thing that sparkles in low light are candles. They set the mood and turn any room into a magical, romantic setting!
