About Grandson
Our Name
We are a progressive and multidisciplinary design studio based in Dundalk.
‘Grandson’ comes from the fact we are plying our trade in the same 200-year-old Georgian building that coincidentally our Creative Director’s grandfather worked in many years ago.
We work with a range of brands and projects across a broad spectrum. We are agile and operate in a modular way to be suitable and relevant to a variety of design challenges, employing positive and holistic design thinking throughout. We add value to your brand with well crafted solutions to your design requirements.
We are very proud of our name and are not in the habit of putting it to something that we are not completely happy with. We take pride in everything we produce and our portfolio reflects this.

We are here to visualise your idea from inception to delivery. We work out exactly what it is that you want. You talk – We listen. We question – You answer.
Research.
We collate all that’s relevant to your brief. Outline what’s required from us. Set deliverables. Start sketching. Start the creative process.
Develop.
Adding value to your brand is at the core of what we do. We explore and develop all possibilities with clear and considered design thinking behind all that we do.
Define.
We communicate all our ideas and concepts to you along the way. When we are all happy with the route it’s going we define this and design all relevant elements.
Deliver.
We deliver on time and with pride. We don’t just hand over and wave goodbye, we create ongoing design relationships and nurture your brands growth with our input.
