Rice Measuring

Use the cup provided by the rice cooker manufacturer and scoop two cups of rice into the rice cooker pot. Some of these rice cups may vary so just keep in mind that you have to level the rice at the top of the cup to keep accurate measurements.

Washing the Rice

To wash the rice, add water to the rice cooker pot. Drain the water after thoroughly cleaning the rice with your hands in the water. You'll notice that the water is very hazy after first washing the rice. Repeat rinsing and draining the rice two more times until the water is clearer.
