Director of Finance/Administrative Director/ Business Manager POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Finance provides leadership in all areas of business administration. Work includes directing and coordinating significant departmental/district administrative areas, including finance and technology. The position is involved in managing the overall financial system, including governmental-fund accounting, purchasing, operating and capital budgets, accounts payable, payroll and financial reporting. This involves preparing and monitoring budgets, financial projections, and performing research and analysis to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. The incumbent also is responsible for technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals. The position establishes technology policies and systems and analyzes business requirements of all departments/divisions to determine technology needs.
