Open and accessible spaces are highlighted in this kitchen that was created with people with impairments in mind. It is designed in a straightforward tropical style. Touchless faucets and appliances add ease to the arrangement, as do lower counters and cabinets with pull-out shelves for quick access. Big windows let in plenty of natural light and fresh air, and ceiling fans improve ventilation to keep the room cool and cozy. Stability is provided by strategically positioned grab bars, and non-slip flooring guarantees safety. A tranquil ambiance is created by the color scheme, which echoes the tranquil tones of the tropics. All things considered, the kitchen effectively blends accessibility, usability, and a link to the outside world.

LOCATION ANALYSIS
The region’s rich ecological systems offer significant tourism potential, with diverse flora and fauna and eco-friendly activities. Khun Chhang Stupa, a heritage site, adds cultural depth and historical appeal for visitors. The area provides clean water and electricity, ensuring a comfortable, sustainable experience for all.
Creating a landmark as a tourism starting point benefits the local community by generating jobs and boosting the economy through visitor spending. Infrastructure development enhances transportation and utilities, improving residents’ quality of life. Careful planning preserves the ecological system, balancing growth and sustainability for regional development
The area features flat terrain and minimal landscape variation. Its remote location results in few tourists and amenities, making it less lively. An unpleasant odor from a trash truck disrupts the natural beauty and can deter visitors.
Rising sea levels from climate change threaten coastal areas and communities. Hard-to-access roads deter tourists, causing economic struggles for local businesses. A lack of local collaboration hinders efforts to address these challenges. Comprehensive planning and cooperation are urgently needed to safeguard coastal regions and support residents.

OBERVATORY TOWER
The tower is inspired by the entire mangrove tree: The intricated root system that bring the nutrition to the whole tree inspire us to make the ramp that lead up to the first level of the tower.
The support column of the tower act in a way the same as the trunk of the mangrove tree which hold support for the entire canopy.
The view platform symbolize the tree canopy which is the tallest part.

RESTAURANT
The boat dock and restaurant design mirror the surrounding environment by mimicking the waves crashing against the shoreline.
The restaurant’s open layout and choice of materials are adapted to the local climate, while the design also embodies the culture and lifestyle of the people in the ocean region of Cambodia.
