Dopamine is associated with positive thinking and endorphins are known as our body’s natural pain-killers. Physically, the benefits come from the relaxation of your cardiovascular system. If you perform a kind deed for someone, you create an emotional bond. The body produces oxytocin, the bonding hormone. This hormone causes the release of nitric acid, which dilates blood vessels, and protects the heart by lowering blood pressure.
