CHEERS! We l c o m e t o t h e i n a u g u r a l vo l u m e o f T h e K i n d r e d . This project has been nothing if not a labor of love. What began as a far fetched idea between the two of us, quickly gained momentum as like-minded people around us caught the vision. The overwhelming response and heartfelt enthusiasm for this little community has been nothing short of breathtaking. When we chose the word “kindred” to represent not only our company but also this resource, we did so with a lot of thought and a lot of hope. We love this city. We love the work that we get to do in this city. It is such a thrill when we get to work with people like us that long to do great work and be a part of making this town even greater. And that’s why this book exists. That is who we are. We are the Kindred. Not content with status quo. Not about business as usual. We are hoping to provide you, our potential client, with the ultimate resource for Waco Weddings & Events. THE BEST OF THE BEST. Thoughtfulness, integrity, unleashed creativity, community - these are the words that we believe will mark us. Are you newly engaged or are you just dreaming of throwing an event that is truly memorable? We feel confident that this book will be a trusty resource in whatever celebration you have on the horizon. Our intent is for this guide to find a home on your bookshelf where you can return to it again and again. Beyond offering you a peek into our “little black book” of favorite vendors you will find a couple of additional planning tools peppered throughout the pages. We want to make this resource as usable as possible and we trust that it will serve you well.

So come meet the Kindred and let us exceed your expectations!

LITTLE BITS OF ADVICE

Photos are the lasting keepsake of your wedding day, both for you and your spouse as well as future generations to come. Choose a photographer whose vision will display your love story well. Take the time to hire a photography professional whose past experience shows his/her ability to artfully capture the simple and ordinary in an extraordinary way in keeping with the value you have placed on this day. Don’t settle. You will always want to look back and see who you loved and who loved you through moments big and small at this incredible time in your life.

— Kathryn Krueger Photography

Many brides scour magazines & Pinterest to determine the look and feel for their wedding day only to be disappointed a few months later to see those trends everywhere. We really encourage our clients to allow their combined story to be the starting place in designing their day. When popular trends are interpreted through the lens of personal details - something really beautiful and memorable occurs. This is because your love story is utterly unique. Let your wedding day be as well.

— Kindred Event Studio

Your wedding invitations are the first glimpse of what is to come on your special day. As your guests receive and open their invitations, each piece of your custom designed suite introduces the personal touches and creativity that is YOUR wedding. Original, artistic, expressive, and inspired can fit into any budget. Allow yourself to go there.
