DAY 2: BRANSON SHOWS & CITY TOUR This morning, see the Doug Gabriel Show, one of the longest-running shows in town, featuring Branson’s Most Awarded Performer. Doug plays his world-famous Mufftar, a guitar made out of a 1969 Thunderbird muffler, and his holiday season show includes favorite classics. Later, venture out on a panoramic Branson City Tour and take in the enhanced downtown waterfront and Branson Landing as you learn the history of Branson from a small mountain town to show capital. Then, board the largest lake cruise vessel in America, the Showboat Branson Belle, to enjoy dinner and a music show while cruising picturesque Table Rock Lake. Top off the evening by experiencing one of the top music and dance shows in Branson, The Dutton Family Show. The Dutton family plays everything from bluegrass to classical music featuring a variety of instruments.

DAY 3: BRANSON – LITTLE ROCK – MEMPHIS Today, travel to Little Rock, the capital of Arkansas. Visit the Clinton Presidential Library and Museum featuring replicas of the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room as well as exhibits presenting the work of the former president. Later travel to Memphis and check into your hotel. Memphis features a distinct southern flavor and a history embodied in the blues. Tonight, visit action-packed Beale Street filled with retail shops, restaurants and music clubs. Enjoy some Southern BBQ during your Beale Street Dinner with your fellow travelers. After dinner, you may choose to take in some of the incredible music at one of the blues or other music clubs. Meals: (B,D) Overnight: Memphis

DAY 4: MEMPHIS – NASHVILLE Today enjoy a tour of Elvis Presley’s famous Graceland, a 14-acre estate, museum and entertainment complex. Later travel through central Tennessee to Nashville. Rolling terrain, magnificent mansions and historic sights decorate the countryside as your route brings you to Music City USA. Arrive at the amazing Gaylord Opryland Resort to begin a two-night stay. The resort complex features three interior gardens under glass roofs and includes waterfalls, a river and lake system with passenger-carrying flatboats, and a variety of restaurants, lounges and shops. Gaylord Opryland offers some of the most distinctive holiday entertainment you can imagine. Tonight enjoy a Holiday Dinner & Show with your fellow travelers at the Opryland Resort.

DAY 5: NASHVILLE Enjoy a Nashville City Tour to see the full-scale replica of the Parthenon, the Old Ryman Auditorium, the State Capitol and the famous Music Row. Later, visit the Country Music Hall of Fame to see how country music has evolved over the past 70 years. The Hall of Fame features memorabilia and displays in a museum setting. This afternoon enjoy the amenities, shops and holiday festivities at the resort. The magic of the Holiday season comes to the Gaylord Opryland Resort with more than 2 million twinkling lights, horse-drawn carriage rides and acres of stunning decorations. This evening, enjoy a performance of the famous Grand Ole Opry Show, a Nashville highlight. The holiday season provides a special treat as the Grand Ole Opry Show performs at the historic Ryman Auditorium in downtown, its former home of 31 years. DAY 1: DEPART USA - ARRIVE SAN JOSE Arrive in San Jose, meet your Professional Naturalist Tour Director and transfer to your hotel. On the 4th voyage of Christopher Columbus in 1502, the explorer and his crew discovered the Caribbean side of a beautiful territory he called, “Costa Rica” or “Rich Coast”. Costa Rica is Central America’s greatest hidden gem, a haven for eco-tourism featuring lush forests, magnificent waterfalls, rumbling volcanoes and diverse ecosystems. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight: San Jose

DAY 2: SAN JOSE - POAS VOLCANO NAT’L PARK Today enjoy the scenery of the Central Valley, surrounded by soaring mountains, strawberry plantations and flower farms. Visit a Coffee Plantation to sample fresh Costa Rican coffee and learn about the history and cultivation of the coffee bean. Later travel past tropical landscapes to see Paos Volcano National Park to view the dramatic mile wide crater from an overlook. Also stop at the Sarchi Artisan Village, known as the cradle of craftsmanship and an ideal place to shop for an oxcart, Costa Rica’s best known craft & souvenir. DAY 3: LA FORTUNA - DAY OF LEISURE Today enjoy the amenities of your resort and spa hotel. DAY 4: ARENAL VOLCANO NAT’L PARK - MONTEVERDE This morning visit the Arenal Volcano National Park, one of the 10 most active volcanoes in the world. Its constant emissions of gases and lava will amaze you. Later check into your hotel in the Monteverde Cloud Forest area for a two night stay and enjoy dinner. (B,D) Overnight: Monteverde

DAY 5: MONTEVERDE Today experience the conservation project at Selvatura Park. Enjoy a unique opportunity to walk across Hanging Bridges & discover first hand the natural beauty of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, one of the largest and most enchanting wildlife sanctuaries in the Americas. Next visit the Butterfly Garden, home to 50 different species, and the Hummingbird Gallery, home to many species from the cloud forest.

DAY 6: MONTEVERDE – JACO/HERMOSA BEACH This morning travel to Jaco/Hermosa Beach area and settle into your hotel for the next 2 nights. DAY 7: MANUEL ANTONIO NAT’L PARK Today we travel to visit Manuel Antonio National Park, home to verdant rainforests and white sand beaches. In this natural wonderland, enjoy free time to traverse the trails where the wild things are, or go for a swim in the turquoise waters as wildlife rummages in the canopies. Later return to the hotel for an evening at leisure. (B) Overnight: Jaco/Hermosa Beach

DAY 8: JACO/HERMOSA BEACH - TÁRCOLES - SAN JOSE Following breakfast this morning, travel to Tarcoles and see crocodiles among the mangroves of Tárcoles’ Rio Grande. Enjoy an exhilarating jungle crocodile safari, you’ll boat beneath the towering jungle, looking along the river banks for a glimpse of these incredible creatures.
