Welcome

We have much to celebrate. I hope you are as excited as our ministry leaders, volunteers and staff are about all that God is doing in the life of Kingdom Fellowship AME Church. God allowed us to begin our new year in great fashion with an awesome set of Watch Night worship experiences and our New Beginnings Revival. Last year we were blessed to complete and surpass our Kingdom Builders goal of $5M to ensure that we will indeed occupy our Kingdom Worship Center on Easter 2022. My prayer is that we never take for granted the calling and favor God has placed on this house of worship we call Kingdom. In the midst of a global pandemic, God is truly doing the amazing —from lives being saved and reached — to families and communities being fed through our work with Kingdom Cares. This is indeed a great time to be on the Lord’s side, and the countdown to greater has officially begun as we move toward Occupy 2022. We have so many plans for this new season in our new Worship Center. I can’t wait to share what the team has prepared. We have great music, preaching and teaching, as well as great ministry for our students and children. You will hear more about the plans and events in the coming weeks. Please don’t miss that this is just the beginning!

We have said for years that our new Kingdom Worship Center will be our “Base of Ministry Operations.” Brothers and sisters, this center will not be our final; it will be the beginning. I will share more of the vision as we get closer to the date, but for now, the vision God has given this house is for more than just our city or even our region; it is global. As I begin my new sermon series this month, “It’s My Pleasure,” I will teach on the blessing of serving, and you’ll hear how God’s vision unfolds. We will need more leaders to serve in the Worship Center, which yes, is larger than our current location; but the need is not solely about serving more people based on building size. We need more leaders to fulfill the larger vision of global impact that God has for Kingdom Fellowship.

In the pages of this Gather Guide, you’ll see all the ways you can serve and “get involved.” Please take advantage of these opportunities that our ministry teams have created and identified. Not only do we have ways for you to serve in ministry now, and at our new Kingdom Worship Center, but we also have ways for you to grow through our Growth groups and Grow University platform. You will see information for those opportunities in this Guide as well. You will also see ways for you to join our Kingdom Global Community Development Corporation (Kingdom Cares) as they serve our community.

You will also find events throughout this Gather Guide. Please take your time to read through it, make reminder notes and register. The Lord has blessed us each Sunday we have gathered in His House to worship Him, and I encourage you to join us and invite a friend. I count it an honor to serve here with you as Pastor and people. I can’t wait to see what the Lord will do next as we remain Kingdom Focused.
