Grow Focus

We say this every month but it is the truth, God continues to bless us here at Kingdom Fellowship AME Church. I am thankful for the relationship we have as Pastor and people. Thank you again for the wonderful celebration and for your gifts of love and appreciation as you celebrated my family and me. There are indeed millions of other churches in the world but only one Kingdom Fellowship and for that we thank God. Not only did we have a great celebration last month of my years in ministry, but we also continued to serve our community in a strong way. From our outreach of feeding people locally to our outreach of feeding people globally, we served. We continued to support our partners in South Africa and we sent extra resources, over $50,000, to our partners in Haiti as they continue to deal with intense times. There is more that we have planned to do and will do in the future but we’re thankful for these opportunities that God has provided for us to be a resource. Just as a reminder, everything that we give is because of your support to the ministry through your tithe and offering. Because of your commitment to give, we have not needed to raise a special offering to bless those who are in need. As an example, we were blessed to continue to provide thousands of diapers and other baby supplies to those in need throughout our community. We have also held several vaccination clinics, including ones impacting our middle and high school students. God has truthfully favored us here at Kingdom Fellowship as we serve our community and the world.

You can see by the cover of this Gather Guide that we have big news! We have been patient and in prayer. Beginning the first Sunday in November, on the 7th, we will return to in-person worship on Sunday mornings! we will have in-person worship on Sunday mornings. As you know for the last few months we have held several in-person worship opportunities and weekly limited gatherings with my recordings on Thursday nights. Our teams have planned and continue to prepare for us to worship together in-person. All of the current protocols of requiring masks and socially distancing will be required and followed. We will also continue to require proof of Covid-19 vaccinations for you to attend worship. In the coming weeks you will see videos and other information with details on our return to in-person worship on Sunday mornings. We will continue to have our Thursday night recording options as well for you to attend. For now please join the staff and I in prayer as we move forward.

Please make sure that you read through the entire Gather Guide and register for everything our teams have made available. I am thankful to God for our teams and their commitment to serve during this season and every season. There are several ministry events and activities listed from our drive-thru Harvest Parade for our Kingdom Kids Ministry, to our Keeping Your Poise for our sisters, to all of our Grow opportunities for everyone to develop in their Christian walk and more. Also please share this Gather Guide with a friend and/or family member and invite them to join us for a ministry event this month and for our return to in-person worship in November!

Lastly, I will begin a new sermon series this month entitled “The World at War” that I am excited about preaching, yet even more excited to see the fruit develop in your lives as you make a bold stand for Jesus Christ and the Gospel. Let’s continue to remain Kingdom Focused!!
